Odd decision, must be a bit more to it. Where's he going to. The Seals or ITK says Bristol City ?

What t'eck's going on there then Amelia? Great record over the last few months......?
Seems quite a charismatic but level - headed bloke too.
Strange?

No idea. Phil Hodgkinson, the new chairman, is getting the blame on Twitter. I think most wanted the Cowleys to be able to get rid of the players that lost interest as soon as we went down and then have the chance build a team. I thought they had a done a good job, given what they've had to work with.

The statement says that they are not accepting applications so they quite clearly already have someone ready. Could it be Lee Johnson?

RE: Another Manager Bites The Dust - Amelia Chaffinch - 20-07-2020

Various rumours. Leeds u23 coach (Carlos something or other?) mentioned as well as Tommy Elphick.

The Cowleys have done what they were supposed to. I'm sure this was the last thing they were expecting. As the club have said they aren't wanting applications, that means they've already decided because either they didn't think the Cowleys would do it or despite them doing it. Either way it is shoddy. It'll be interesting what the chairman says at the presser today but it's still tainted what should have been a reasonable end to the season for me. I like clubs who act decently, not this.
