LAST MATCH
Well we left it late, but we finally managed our first home goal of 2020 and our first win in 8 attempts. The first 20 mins were a non event but from then on in the first half we manged several half chances but couldn't find the back of the net. Onto the 2nd half and we started on the front foot creating more chances and there keeper in to several good saves. We were nearly sucker punched when Taylor crashed a terrific strike off the crossbar. We were still creating chances but poor finishing let us down. It looked like a it was going to be a night of frustration until Lees flicked on, Nuhiu made himself a nuisance and Fletcher headed home, sparking wild celebrations.
THE MATCH
Back to back home games as Rooney FC make the short trip north to Hillsborough. Derby have had a disappointing season and despite the arrival of Rooney, they do seem destined to remain in the Championship. They have some good player apart from Rooney - Waghorn, Lawrence, Marriott. They are managed by Dutchman Phillip Cocu and he would have hoped to mount a promotion push rather than being stuck in mid table. They will probably sack him in the summer and make Rooney player/manager.

For me we have to get windass Wickham and fletcher in the team somehow as we need finishers infront of goal.
Maybe aswell Rooney playing in his midfield role might work for Bannan as he's just as xxxx floaty and almost sleep like movement !

Lee is the best player ever
Ffs Wickham hasnt been given a chance to get in his stride with the shite midfield we have and monk swapping and changing with the breeze ! I thought he looked tricky again the other night and he just needs more game time and a few thousand chances like fessi gets and misses and he will score at least 5 or 6 goals in these last 10 games .
As for Murphy I've said it before he's hot and cold but looking much better since Xmas. Is he worth shelling out a load of money for though ? I suppose it depends in which division we start next season in ?
And last Lee ..for me he was the best player in a Wednesday shirt for the last decade. But since coming back he's been way of his standards and next season he will be a year older still without a contract ..again before we move on or give him an extension depends on which division we are in a suppose .
But the hypocrisy of Wednesday fans makes me fuckinggg vomit !
