Happy New Year - WBA-Josh - 01-01-2019

Happy New Year guys. Have a great 2019.

Let’s enjoy seeing the Albion achieve promotion once again.

Yup, HNY to all, and let's enjoy being part of this great group, and this great club. With or without promotion, let's enjoy the ride - we're going to win more than we lose so THINK POSITIVE!

RE: Happy New Year - Blue Baggie - 01-01-2019

HNY to all you guys and girls who support the baggies.

Onwards and upwards Baggies. Though leaving the Championship will be a shame as the league is more exciting and equal than the Prem.

Happy New Year to all - I mean all.

Bob

HNY to all Baggies, echoing Josh, Drewks, Penn & Bob above.
Nice Forum with friendly posters.

Happy New Year one and all. Best and friendliest Baggies Forum by far. Thanks to all who make the site what it is.

HNY one and all.

I am on the sofa, hungover and wrapped in a blanket watching Skysports.

Cracking night out and hoping that Forest can do one on Leeds and we don’t screw up at Blackburn.

Wishing you all and those you love, a Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year.

To throw a spanner in the works and aspirations of many, I’m not so sure, given the current playing position and future agenda of the club, that I really want promotion back to the Premiership as I feel we do not have a sound and stable enough base to survive and avoid immediate relegation which I believe would once more return us to the yo-yo years.

Sadly, our owner/s seems not to be the tree laden with unlimited funds and parachute payments will not be enough to enable us to compete on a level field. Not sure what the answer is. Sorry to be pessimistic but that’s how I see it.

Unfortunately, failure to get promoted will also mean a mass exodus and a gradual sinking into mid-table as Villa have experienced (and they've actually retained some of their gems, like Grealish). There's no happy medium.
