Bobby Moore and the great Pele were in there for sure Thumb up
Cant forget the strong Scottish accent of John Warke either,

There were a couple of European players in there as well but can't remember their names. Interesting (not) fact, the movie was just called "Victory" over here, no idea why though!!

actually it was called Victory to start with
John Houston the director changed it`s title to Escape To Victory
no idea why
but it was a good movie
just for that "Injured" Pele`s overhead kick

RE: Another Bit Of Fun(part two) - Bierzo Baggie - 24-09-2018

Everybody's favourite footy film.

Kazzy Deyna was in it, classy Polish midfielder who proper Man City fans might remember.

The recently deceased Kevin Beattie was Michael Caine's double.

According to Wikipedia (only cheated to check the above) apparently Zoltan Gera was in it too...didn't know he was that old! Big Grin Whistle

Gordon Banks was the goalkeeping coahc brought in to help Stallone play his role, judging by the way he ended up looking on screen I assume that was after Banks had lost an eye in his car crash!!!Whistle
