20/20 competition City thingy - themaclad - 19-04-2018

The new City franchise 20/20 will not be 20/20 apparently it will be a 100 ball a side competition with 15 x 6 ball over and a 10 ball over.
Apparently it is too differentiate between other 20/20 competitions throughout the world. Personally view it will be different and it will be twice as shite as the other shite 20/20 competitions. It's for the modern day person who has the attention spell of 30 seconds

Why not have ten 10 ball overs and each of the fielding side, apart from wicketkeeper has to bowl an over?

This just feels like one of those ideas that is put out and is so heinous that when it is removed from the table, and something slightly less vile put in its place, it seems a blessing. I want to call it dead cat politics, but I'm not sure that's the right phrase. Dead horse politics eventually, I'm sure.
