Huge rumour going round on westbrom.com that TP is to be sacked in the morning ........

I'm still not convinced that the chairman and board have the balls and ambition to sack him but I'm happy to be proven wrong.

Given the nature of the weekend's defeat - vs a promoted side with 10 men for 35 minutes - I think the board have no alternative.
Had we lost XI on XI, maybe he'd have survived...
But this game was more than just a loss. It was an absolute shambles. Not only was it the same negative dross that has failed us time and time again this season, the players also looked like they'd stopped playing for him. For the first time ever, he looked like a withering old man who knew his time was up.
I just hope the board employ someone with top flight experience and not a lower league gamble like we have seen in the past. Clearly, this is going to be a long hard season after screwing up a relatively easy start.

If the rumours are indeed true then I hope WBA go all out for a top coach such as Koeman rather than a simple upgrade on Pulis like Allardyce. Allardyce wouldn't be too bad for short term until end of the season but the football will be very similar to that of Pulis' but with better efficiency.
