Hibs v Motherwell, Sat 16 Sept, KO 3.00pm - 0762 - 13-09-2017 At last, another home game for Hibs v the 'steel men' and we must try to pick up the full 3 pts this time. I'm curious to see if Lenny 'freshens up' the Hibs team after observing certain failings in recent matches. Simon Murray needing a wee rest? Drop Whittaker and give an opp to impress to another player? Emphasise to the players to try and score at every opportunity and do it properly! This game will likely present a physical midfield tussle and hopefully Hibs will be 'up for it'! IMO it's definitely a match we can win but the players have gotta earn it! GGTTH RE: Hibs v Motherwell, Sat 16 Sept, KO 3.00pm - hibeejim21 - 13-09-2017 Motherwell are playing well at the moment, moult and bowman are good players. But we are playing well too, just need to turn our good play into a win. IMO defending well will provide the 3 points, middle to forward we look really good and will get a goal or two. Murray has led the line well, but I think he has looked a bit 'leggy' at times. Maybe time to give big "dave" a shot ? I think whittaker will start,as he can create openings but his defending has definitely been a bit dodgy at times. Looking forward to this, think it will be a good game. RE: Hibs v Motherwell, Sat 16 Sept, KO 3.00pm - Paigntonhibby - 13-09-2017 coming up for this one and looking forward to it, just hope we start turning chances intae goals. GGTTH RE: Hibs v Motherwell, Sat 16 Sept, KO 3.00pm - 0762 - 13-09-2017 Well I hope Stokesy disnae just stick to scoring one goal but scores some of the other really good chances that 'come his way'! Not the the only offender but he could've scored 3 or 4 goals in our last match v Saint Johnstone. RE: Hibs v Motherwell, Sat 16 Sept, KO 3.00pm - hibeejim21 - 15-09-2017 Marciano Gray Efe Hanlon Lewis Slivka Bartley McGinn Boyle Big Dave Stokesy That would be my team. RE: Hibs v Motherwell, Sat 16 Sept, KO 3.00pm - hfcbounce - 15-09-2017 I would go with that jim Simon Murray has done brilliant so far running his guts out a wee rest is just what he needs even a sub for the last 20/30 mins. Steven Whittaker has not set the heather on fire so far maybe lacking fitness but still a quality player to have. Hopefully another big support turning for the first home ame in a while. C'mon the hibs GGTTH . RE: Hibs v Motherwell, Sat 16 Sept, KO 3.00pm - 0762 - 16-09-2017 Rangers drop pts tonight with a draw v 10 man Partick Th and they play the Hoops in their next league match. IMO this is a good time for Hibs to start winning games again! GGTTH RE: Hibs v Motherwell, Sat 16 Sept, KO 3.00pm - hibeejim21 - 16-09-2017 Sevco are muck. The idiocy of giving that mid table, qatari league doughnut a long term contract is just mystifying. I can't see celtic losing to a team with that defence. So aye we need to get ourselves a couple of wins and get back up the table. If he is there after xmas it will only be because they can't afford to ship him out. RE: Hibs v Motherwell, Sat 16 Sept, KO 3.00pm - Fredstersafool - 16-09-2017 Yet they are two points clear of hibs having lost to them, 2-0 up and draw sometimes yer better biting yer tongue eh??
