Going well so far - 4evaabaggie - 29-07-2017

Playing Bristol Rogers ....... losing 1-0 after 4 mins

Playing Slough Town ......... drawing 1-1 after leading

Don't want to be a pessimist ...... but this closed season is not filling me with optimism just yet.

Anybody watching the games?, can you give me hope?. Happy with SGM back but hope is wavering currently.

2-1 .... Slough Town

RE: Going well so far - Baggievicar - 29-07-2017

Is the team against Slough all kids? All the senior players seem to be taking it in turns to get injured at Bristol.

RE: Going well so far - 4evaabaggie - 29-07-2017

2-0 ..... Bristol rovers

Baggievicar ...... your probably right about the kids, but what about the first team .......

Great we're now only losing 2-1 in both games ....... two weeks until Bournemouth ......

RE: Going well so far - Beefy 1965 - 29-07-2017

Worrying that Brunt hot injured early on
But more so Phillips was withdrawn
AGAIN ?

ERM great time to add to a wafer thin squad Tone ?

RE: Going well so far - Baggievicar - 29-07-2017

Tone might argue that if we're going to concede 2 against the Gas we need to buy a load of defenders. I hope he notices that we had trouble scoring as well.

RE: Going well so far - Worldclassalbion - 29-07-2017

Bristol Rovers 2 - Albion 1

Slough 2 - Albion 1

People say these games mean nothing but if that's true why am I down in the dumps?

Frightening prospect 4eva...... I just hope we will show more a more enthusiastic and professional approach when it comes to the real thing.

West Brom boss Tony Pulis admits the club need to do a 'lot' of business

The West Bromwich Albion boss is worried about how thin on the ground his team are
Tony Pulis believes the need to conduct “lots” more transfer market business was magnified by events at the Memorial Stadium.

Already short on numbers, Albion were depleted further by injuries to Matt Phillips, Chris Brunt and James McClean.

We need to,” the Baggies boss said.

“I think you’ve seen today we need to.

“We’re very thin on the ground.
We do need to change and I think everyone at the football club knows that.

“It’s just making sure you get the right players.

“We’ve made offers that haven’t come to any fruition yet, but we’ll keep trying.”

HAVE THEY ONLY JUST REALISED WE NEED PLAYERS?

we just don't seem to learn, the club itself said recently that they'd be hitting transfers harder and sooner because how disappointing last summers transfer window was.
we just don't seem to learn Doh
