ST Sales - Dancingwilldoit - 21-04-2017

Looks like the rumour was true. Only 350 sold up to last nights Q+A. Our top 6 budget statement looks a bit worthless if that doesn't improve Blue. Player budget is based on minimum gates of 5000. Not a cat in hells chance we will get that next season.

Losing a million pounds a season as well.

Whilst my heart is with Carson and Warner's appeal to the fans and over next season's budget mere words can ring very empty. This season's pantomime bungee jump is hardly going to win over the crowd until they witness a safe landing. At the moment they can't tell whether the rope will break, it has been cut too long, everything's going to plan, or DA's going to don his superman pants and swoop from the bridge.

RE: ST Sales - bluepooch - 21-04-2017

I've made it 351 today .Carsons PR skills are as bad as DA's .Why did he have to announce the low season ticket figure ? it has made us a laughing stock again .He could have just said they were slow but were expected to pick up as we get near to the transfer window .Also Ive seen the headline we are losing a million pounds a season ,why announce this ? why not just say we are running a tighter ship now and expect to reduce the losses significantly.
In my opinion I think ST sales will be about 3000 in total which under the circumstances they cant expect any more .

RE: ST Sales - Dancingwilldoit - 22-04-2017

Have you taken the blinkers off yet Blue?

RE: ST Sales - bluepooch - 23-04-2017

I have never had them on Dancing I take an impartial view and I thought second half today was probably the best we have played under Caldwell offensively. One of the much maligned loan 5 Faupala came on and nearly changed the game ,he looked very lively .
We faced yet another team who have a massive budget for this level with the likes of Novak,Nathan Byrne and Johnny Jackson among their throng yet we were arguably the better team.Stuckmann hardly had a save to make .
We cannot get away from the awful record Gary has in his 19 games and he will need to hit the ground sprinting next season for him to keep my backing even though there is a ready made excuse that his new team will need time to gel.Ill give him 10 games.

RE: ST Sales - Dancingwilldoit - 23-04-2017

I have missed more games this season than the other seasons at the new ground added together. I am seriously thinking of not renewing my ST's. GC's record isn't awful Blue its just absolute pathetic sheeite.
Blue, I asked the other day to give me a single positive from his time here? Look back at the totally soul destroying games with 1 or 2 shots on goal in 90 mins. Charlton had nothing to play for yesterday but still managed to beat us and it could have been 3 - 1 to them if it wasn't for Stuckman. They just didn't need to get out of 3rd gear to beat us.
The club is in serious trouble and I can honestly see us fighting relegation again next season. I hope to god I am wrong but its looking more and more likely. GC needs to go and needs to go before he brings in a load of garbage that our next manager gets lumbered with. I don't care who it is but we need somebody with passion and fight because my god we are going to need it.

RE: ST Sales - bluepooch - 23-04-2017

There were plenty of positives yesterday if you went you surely would agree.
1,Good performances from young promising players like Rowley ,Mitchell ,Maguire and Faupala.
2,His teams try to play an attractive brand of football this is backed backed up by Wigan fans and it was good yesterday.
3,Stuckmann .
4,He has recruited a recruitment guy to replace the previous recruitment guy who your mate Wilson got rid of because him and Morgan could do it between them .
5,He always talks like his knowledge of the game is good and has a modern approach to the game ,he says he knows what is required to turn it around.
6,He is being proactive by bringing them back early for pre season training.
7,It looks like he intends to have a major cull of the dross that is here now.
8 He knows the budget wont be big and he is still happy with the challenge .
Dancing ,The club will only be in serious trouble if everyone thinks like you and stops going .

RE: ST Sales - Devongone - 24-04-2017

Stuckmann fucukmannn ......... does anybody know anything about Tommy Lee? History suggests we only get promotion when he's playing (Richo couldn't do it when he kept picking loanees in front of him) and we get relegated if he is out injured. On the field we clearly need Tommy Lee but our pathetic website gives us even less info' these days.

Who ARE the dross Pooch? Looks like Dan Jones is on his way out for instance. I've big doubts about him because of recent injuries but dross he isn't! SEB who has almost never tried an inch is dross, but you've been his greatest advocate! My thought is none of our squad apart from youngsters are must keeps and neither are any in the obvious must-ditch category.

The O'Shea deal was laughable. I thought we were making financial space for a decent incomer who was a trier ...... but it turns out we provided Sheff Utd with a freebie sub'.

The Raglan situation is a hoot, now keeping Dunkley out of the team and a clean sheet at Millwall. Oxford are way better than us. We've no defence. We persist with a Burnley player who likes to give away penalties for Stuckmann to save ......... Whizzo decisions from two managers on that one.

Dancing's root-and-branch decimation of the club's decision-making processes is depressing. It isn't just GC, just as it wasn't DW. The Proact seems merely to be a monument to an act of theft by one family. It is the permanent reason we are in thrall to the Allens ......... & I don't see a way out unless Mr Allen provides one.

And Pooch mate - FAUPALA? - why FFS, do you think he is suddenly and miraculously so lively? Now could it be anything to do with him going back to Manchester City in a weeks's time, where his future in football is on the line? He'll be playing in France next season for my money .......... the question is can he get himself a contract at a club like St Etienne or will it be a Le Havre or lower? HE AIN'T LIVELY CAUSE GENIUS CALDWELL SUDDENLY FOUND THE KEY!

Prediction - at Bramall Lane GC selects a random academy 12 year-old on the bench. Ricky German isn't available for comment ..........

The truth is we are hugely in debt and we have a ground to which we need to attract about 7,500 fans even to meet expenses. Our fans have been amazingly loyal during a disastrous season, but we are struggling for 6,000 and next season's ticket sales suggest a struggle for 5,000. Bob's Board is poisonous because that is how fans feel. Of course AFC Chesterfield is a ridiculous option. With nothing but supporters the club would have to form at about Step Six or Seven of the pyramid. It's great when you've made it like Wimbledon, but if it is easy why have Lincoln struggled just to escape the Panorama (with success they can attract 9,000 fans and used to be a club whose cast-offs we sought)?

RE: ST Sales - bluepooch - 24-04-2017

Anderson played well Saturday as he has done in the majority of games this season,he didnt give the penalty away Dev this time ,Nolan did and Phil Tooley promptly gave him man of the match on Peak to continue their love affair.
I dont know how much DA has put in or taken out of the club ,all I know is he has given us two championships ,two Wembley appearances and two relegations and if he stays Im sure we wont be mid table in league two.For a so called club in crisis we have never been late with payments to HMIR ,the players and staff have never gone without their wages like other clubs and the debt is solely to him so it is in his best interests to make us successful again surely, even just to make us more attractive to sell.
