International Thread - England v Estonia Sunday 5pm UK time - St Charles Owl - 10-10-2014

While Thurnscoe is on his sabbatical I am doing the International thread.  Quickly on the heels of the San Marino victory we find England making their way to the Baltic states for their second away game of the group qualifiers!!  The two teams were also drawn against each other for qualifying in Euro 2008, with England winning matches both in Tallinn and then at Wembley in 2007 by 3-0 scorelines. Peter Crouch, Joe Cole, Wayne Rooney, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Michael Owen were among England’s goalscorers in the two games. They are the only two previous matches between the two nations.

As far as I can see England picked up no further injuries from the San Marino game so I do not expect the team to change that much from that one.  Woy did make 2 half time substitutions, bringing on the Ox and Lallana for Sterling and Henderson, so it will be interesting to see if he sticks with the two who came on in the starting line up.  I would expect the team to be:

Hart
Chambers, Cahill, Jagielka, Baines
Sterling, Lallana, Wilshere, Milner
Rooney, Welbeck

Thurnscoe_OWL's League for people who care about this shit

We got multiple winners from the last game with OwlKev picking up two Sleeping and jumping to the top of the table!!  Madsteve may yet also win one once todays games are done.

Here's the current standings:

Quite right Wereham, you are obviously a wise Owl!!!!!ExclamationExclamation

Just an update on our international Owls. Westwood and May were both unused subs in the ROI and Scotland games today. Was there anyone else from S6 away on International duty, I can't help thinking I am missing someone!!!
