Wolfsburg - themaclad - 19-12-2016 Is Wagner off back to Germany, Twitter rumours gathering pace RE: Wolfsburg - jjamez - 19-12-2016 well if they are to be believed the tail of the terriers will no longer be wagging....sorry... do i think he'll go? i'm not too sure, i reckon the 'project' he has been on about here is one he would ideally want to complete. however, i could fully understand if he was to leave, why he would do so, i mean his family is still young and based in germany so the job would be better on that part, but they are very near the bottom with a fair few unhappy players, including players like draxler. failure to keep them up and he's out on his rear end but keeping them up may be the start of something special, then again getting town promoted would do more for him than keeping them up, plus he has mentioned his family coming over here in summer once they have finished school, but that is more personal on his behalf than anything else. what would be interesting is who would come in if he went? hughes to become top dog or buhler? or possibly another foreign manager that we wont expect? maybe rowett, but that would pretty much ruin what we have going on here. RE: Wolfsburg - Lord Snooty - 19-12-2016 Not a chance of this happening. RE: Wolfsburg - jjamez - 19-12-2016 hold you to that snoots! RE: Wolfsburg - Lord Snooty - 20-12-2016 More sloppy journalism. Wolfsburg appointed a new manager last month. Why would they want another one now? Why would Wagner leave a club that's going places to a team struggling iin the Blunders League? Oggy said this story originated from the German equivalent of The Sun. Say no more! Journalists are utter shite these days. They just make shit up. They never check their facts. None of them saw the Rowett/Zola story coming along did they. Just look at the standard of journalism coming from the Unexamined these days. Pisch! RE: Wolfsburg - themaclad - 20-12-2016 New manager at Wolfsburg hasn't won a game yet, tend to fire faster over there, as they sat let's wait and see besides Wagner really wants a plum job however the Deepdale job not on offer so he'll have to wait RE: Wolfsburg - EastLondonTerrier - 20-12-2016 Haven't seen Leeds fans this excited since they got two of their own on gogglebox. RE: Wolfsburg - sloppyattheback - 20-12-2016 VW are on the brink of a major Government support prop up programme in Germany with all the legal costs about to hit, politically they have to ensure it continues very unionised and a German trade mark, so as the club's main sponsor will have its main source of income vastly reduced in the coming seasons and the club will look a whole lot less attractive. Working with Deano who looks minted in comparison to VW currently must hold some weight, DW has only just started a project with us. Do i think he will be with us still in another 18 months, probably not if things progress well, but his stock in the UK is rising weekly and I suspect he is feeling that too. RE: Wolfsburg - Amelia Chaffinch - 20-12-2016 No, no, no. Not happening. RE: Wolfsburg - Lord Snooty - 20-12-2016 Wolfsburg have poo pooed the story now. |
