3 in a row? - Dancingwilldoit - 29-02-2016

Am I tempting fate? 3 points tomorrow would be just perfect and put a bit more distance between us and the basement. Knowing us it wont quite work out that way but Saturdays result restored my confidence is us avoiding the drop.
With Doncaster and those cheating bastards Peterborough in freefall, the back end of the season could prove interesting.

I'm hoping it will be uninteresting meaning we are in mid table mediocrity.
I'm gonna make a bold prediction and say if we win tomorrow we will stay up

It is a big if Pooch, but I'd agree that if we were on 40 points with 12 games left we should escape. But I've got an awful feeling we'll score nil. I'm hoping for the same from Blackpool.

With Samuelsen in their midfield there's no chance of the Posh sinking into the mire. They only need two wins before the end of the season for safety. I reckon we want to see lots of defeats and draws most weeks round the Shrewsbury, Oldham, Blackpool, Fleetwod, Doncaster axis ........

Of course a winning run would be nice, but don't hold your breath. It's a very inexperienced defence. We don't know how they.ll handle it if they concede a couple early in a game. It could blow their confidence apart.

A strangely negative post Dev considering our last two results .im confident we will score tomorrow.we bloody need to .

I reckon we will just win tomorrow. We're better than Blackpool. I wonder though where we would be in the league if Deano was still in charge?

Out of curiosity can I ask why you referred to them as cheats?  I am not aware of anything in particular that would deserve such a label but just interested!

When we played Peterborough they were winning 1-0 but went down to 9 men and started cheating by faking injuries, time wasting etc especially there keeper who kept lying on the floor who supposedly had a bad back or shoulder. Plus its not the first time this has happened when we've played them. The way they play is more like a rugby team than a football team there very very physical and the ref lets them get away with a lot.

Figured there was some history somewhere, just didn't know what it was. Thanks for the explanation!!

Sounds a bit like the "Battle of Bramall Lane" with Colin and Megson going at each other over the Blunts cheating!!

RE: 3 in a row? - Dancingwilldoit - 01-03-2016

It was just as Matt says. I have never seen a team so blatantly fake injury and time waste and get away with it. They had 2 sent off but were lucky at that. Bradford are bad enough but "The Posh" take the biscuit. I would just love to see them go down for crimes against football.

What do you expect with a team managed by Westley as for tonight you should beat Blackpool but they are an odd side inept most of the time but can win games
