FC United - spireitematt - 27-10-2015

Drawn in the First round of the FA cup away at Broadhurst Park. Should be a great game and won't be surprised if it will be on TV.

RE: FC United - spireitematt - 28-10-2015

The club will only be getting 500 tickets but it's live on BT Sport on Monday 9th November at 7:45pm.

Difficult game to call, believe it's a tidy new ground as well, still unsure about this lot still think they would rather be at Old Trafford watching football

It is a new ground only opened back in May. I don't think they want to be at Old Trafford watching football where ticket prices are nearly £50 a match.

Watch this.

RE: FC United - Devongone - 29-10-2015

Monday night on BT ain't a cup game. Just a chance, which we'll probably seize, to be publicly humiliated.

I was pleased with the draw until we became a TV profit margin.

RE: FC United - spireitematt - 29-10-2015

Well FC United aren't happy either they wanted it on a Saturday at 3pm. They believe that Monday night isn't a night for football and its been created by the TV companies Sky in particular as entertainment.

RE: FC United - Devongone - 09-11-2015

Loved FC United on Radio 4 this morning. I never want Chesterfield to lose, but if we go down this time I can take it.

They really do represent both the roots and the new shoots of football.

RE: FC United - themaclad - 09-11-2015

Seen them still think basically a bunch of United fans who would go back to Old Trafford if the Glaziers leave

RE: FC United - Devongone - 09-11-2015

After ten years of work to build their club? I'm usually onside with themaclad opinions ...... but this one sounds like prejudice.

If the Glazers leave they'll only be replaced by some new variety of themselves. Man Utd fans will never own their club. Nothing against the Class of 92, but if a league Club is going to emerge from Manchester I hope it is FC United without millionaire investment.
