LAST MATCH

After 7 points out of nine, we came back to earth as the Canaries took the points. Norwich took and early lead when Sainz found space 20 yards out and finished well. We responded well and had a few chances before we deservedly levelled, Vaulks throw in was flicked on & Cadamarteri nodded in. Norwich had a few chances before HT but we survived. Onto the 2nd and Norwich re-took the lead with a quick counter and Barnes poked in from 6 yards. The Canaries wrapped up the points when Rowe headed in a cross, though the defending & goalkeeping were poor. We had some chances before the end but couldn't find the net.

THE MATCH

Next up and QPR make the journey north and a win is a must for us. They had made a very poor start to the season, currently 22nd, resulting in Gareth Ainsworth getting the sack and being replaced by Marti Cifuentes at the end of October who has been a manger for a decade and managed teams around Scandinavia. There form has improved winning 3 of there last 4 games. There leading scorers are Paal, Dykes and Willock with 3 apiece, there best player is Chair with 2 goals & 4 assists.

Thick and fast the games now. I can understand Rohls need to rotate thes clowns. Can we afford to though is the question?

Dawson... I just can't anymore
Diaby is shocking. Ihiekwe Famewo Iorfa aren't an improvement. Palmer barely cutts it at this level either.

The performances are probably as good as they can be given the personnel available to Rohl.
He's still going to make mistakes himself, this is acceptable given the actual forward progress he's making.
Unlike Moore, who was a continuation of mistakes with very little to no actual progress.

Let's play goalie wag on Saturday we wouldn't see the difference!

RE: The Owls v QPR SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 14-12-2023

Exactly, might as well give that little lad Charles a go if we need a keeper.
Dawson simply hasn't learned by now. I don't think he ever will, he's Div 3 level tops.

Keeper 2 defenders left and right ! A decent winger or wing back an attacking midfielder and a striker ...is that too.much to ask for ..I'm.thinking it is and we will only get half of that in the transfer window as it's sky high prices and blackmail that rules the one after Xmas !!!

It's a huge ask in a single transfer window for us Laugh
Hopefully Rohl has been proactive and the likes of Hendrick, Buckley and Vazquez are packed and ready to return to their parent clubs. They've done nothing to improve this squad, they can't even displace the clowns already selected Doh
