So he's joining Cardiff for £750k

RE: Goodbye Eoin - spireitematt - 02-02-2015

Trying to sign Emmanuel Dieseruvwe on a permanent deal.

Lavery could do well for you, he has definitely shown promise, scoring a few goals in the process for us. He has just come back from injury so needs matches to get fit, hopefully he does a good job for you!!

Yeah he does sound promising but could do with him for more than a month.

We have signed a new striker and we still have Madine at Coventry. Not sure whether it is us or you making the term just a couple of months, but if he does ok I would imagine it could be extended later. A lot depends where we are in the table by then and whether we are scoring goals with the players we have.

The goals Doyle scored this season suggest we should have been getting over a million, but at the start of the season we'd have snatched anybody's hand off if they'd offered £200,000. We got him for nothing so Paul Cook can chalk him up in his credit column.

Lavery I think might do a job for us. Duffy is a good signing. As he's ginger the opposition will think it's Doyle and flock to mark him.

Feel for Doyle at Cardiff. It doesn't seem a happy ship.

They owe £6 million and are going to court over a legal battle.

If I was a footballer I wouldn't have touched Cardiff with a barge pole for all the tea in China. They've got a nutter of an owner and Slade looks like he could be sacked at anytime.

If you were a footballer Matt and somebody waved £8k a week for a couple of years in front of your face you would snatch his hand off no matter what !
I know I would.

RE: Goodbye Eoin - Devongone - 03-02-2015

Luckily for you Dancing you were Cardiff's last signing in the window. I know it's going to mean a fitness campaign, but £8,000 a week for a couple of years .........

You are right of course, but Doyle has done such a great job for us I'd have liked him to go somewhere slightly less capricious. As Matt says it could be all-change there next week, but if The Ginger Costa clocks a debut double everything could suddenly be coming up bluebirds ..... and they did really ought to be chasing a place in the Premier.
