RE: WELL DONE WALSALL. - Bournemouth Baggie - 28-01-2015

Born and bred in Bournemouth which is South East Black Country

RE: WELL DONE WALSALL. - 4evaabaggie - 28-01-2015

Like Bournemouth, I was hatched down South, along the coast in Somerset, just a short hop down the M5 from the shrine therefore that must count as south west Black country. Mother remarried whilst living in Berkshire to a Dudley born chap .......... hence the blue and white blood running thorough my veins.

Albion til I die

forgot to add ....... congratulations to the saddlers ...... always one of the clubs I keep half an eye out for, only support the baggies but for various reasons look out for Telford ..... lived there, Yeovil ..... born in Somerset, Walsall ... smaller black country neighbours not obnoxious like those custard bowl dwellers down the road, Luton .... harshly treated by football league and live near there currently and MK Dons only because of the grief they got when forced to move to MK or close as council would not let them redevelop.

My heart and soul will always be the Albion ...... pride of the midlands

And I still don't think that Wolves should be called Black Country - yes/no? Any more born here in dear old BC?

Afternoon All,
Yeah, great result for the Saddlers, and heres hoping they are the first black country team to reach Wembley this year, but not the last!
As for black country upbringing, I was born in Smethwick, which when I was there was in Worcestershire, as the address was Warley, Worcestershire, then we moved from there to Wednesbury, Rowley Regis, Dudley then to Great Barr, where I spent most of my school days, then ended up in Shropshire, where I now happily reside, with a short period of 2 to 3 years in Wiltshire and Berkshire somewhere in the middle of all that , so there must be some black country in me somewhere?
Mom from Wednesbury, Dad from Smethwick, must count?
Cheers,
              Kookiebags.
