Great choice he must be doing something right.  Thumb up

In our depths of despair and depression I'd forgotten that Mozza was still at the club, so that seems doubley good to me!
Always loved him as a player and a bloke (particularly after decking Saddo) Thumb up

What a rare sight, an all British coaching staff.

A good mix of characters there. I'm proud to see us flying the flag and actually giving British coaches a chance.

Hell, I remember (god knows how after all the beer and wine that's flowed though my brains since) being in a bar in Majorca, donkeys years back. Well, it would be in Spain. Donkeys, Majorca and all that. Tongue

The landlady said Sammy Lee used to come in at the end of the season playing for the Red Scouse, and a few of his mates. Order a crate of San Miguel or whatever they had, sit on the crate at the edge of the dance floor while he drank them and an hour later go next door and do the same thing. Then carry on until he staggered back to his hotel. His mates bought their own. He didn't do rounds apparently.

I take it he's looking after himself a bit better these days.

Google mapped it, not sure of the bar name, probably not there anymore or if it is it's going to be called something else by now, but it was in S'Arenal - I knew the Gunners were involved somewhere. Big Grin Whistle Smartass

RE: James Morrison - BaggieSteve - 18-12-2020

Is Allardyce allowed to go anywhere without Sammy Lee?

RE: James Morrison - theo_luddite - 18-12-2020

It might be the other way round, not sure Sammy is allowed out without .....

RE: James Morrison - Blue Baggie - 18-12-2020

Common sense always works well, great decision for club and Mozza. Sam has begun to collect brownie points.

RE: James Morrison - Salopbaggie - 19-12-2020

One thing for sure, the dressing room at half time will be interesting if he feels a player is not giving his all.  Maybe we should get some more medical staff for the intervals, perhaps we could get Dr Carneiro, now we have Ivanovic Whistle Whistle

Delighted for mozza he’s stuck with the Albion for years and years loyalty that’s rare these days rewarded and rightly so
