  Preston it is

Preston missed out on Automatic promotion after losing to Colchester 1-0. Preston have been in the playoffs 9 times and lost 9 times. Preston not getting 2nd will have knocked their confidence so lets hope we take opportunity of it.

Well done Celtic on winning the league, you finally kicked on the last few months i`m glad the Dandy Dons were there to make you try some and give you a wee scare
Couldve done without losing to your feeder club yesterday though

A great season which hopefully puts Aberdeen now as if not a genuine SPL contender at least a perrenial thorn in the side to Celtic

This is most probably the last season of our club Captain Russell Anderson-a legend for us and sadly never enough caps at national level, hampered terribly by injuries on his foray south sadly they never saw the best of him

Goalkeeper and left back are a must for next season, onwards and upwards Thumb up

  What now?
Posted by: ritchiebaby - 02-05-2015, 23:15 - Forum: Hibernian - Replies (11)

There's 18 days to go until our next game, so what would you organise for the Hibs players?

I'd be inclined to take them away for a week's break with an afternoon's light training every day. Back to Easter Road/East Mains for normal training patterns coupled with at least two competitive matches to get back to match fitness. The problem might be getting suitable, available opponents, but it's too long without a game to have Hibs at their best for the play-off games on 20 and 23 May.

Big Man's League Final Table 2014-15

Here is the final table after our last game of the season at Watford.

1. Owlkev

2. Southey

=3. Wereham
=3. Stateside
=3. Imre

=6. Thurnscoe
=6. Offshore
=6. Towinjustonce

=9. St Charles
=9. Pei
=9. Maddix
=9. Bottesford

=13. Owlshighgreen
=13. Madsteve
=13. Washington

=16. Kimmy
=16. A57

=18. Chezzie
=18. Daffodils
=18. BBB

Well done to Owlkev, he led for most of the second half of the season and despite a strong late push from Southey he was able to hold on to take the title.  Honorably mentions for Southey, Wereham, Stateside and Imre for completing the top 3!!  Rep point all round for the winner!!

Thank you to all who took part this season, thank you to Maddix for all the match threads he did this season and I look forward to next season when the BML will return!!!

  Football fans to be breathalysed
Posted by: spireitematt - 02-05-2015, 18:16 - Forum: Other........ - Replies (1)

This is ridiculous. They sell alcohol at most football grounds in the concourse bars but want to breathalyse you before you go into the ground, this is becoming more and more like 1984, Orwell was right. Instead of getting pissed before they go to the ground they will get to the ground early and get pissed inside the ground.

Football is not a working class game anymore and fans are treated like criminals and hooligans. It's the minority which are the hooligans not the majority. You can't shout out at football anymore you can't stand, you can't chant or sing.

  Promotion Is A Curse
Posted by: Arcane Astral Aeons - 01-05-2015, 20:40 - Forum: West Bromwich Albion - Replies (3)

every players ambition is to play in the premier league
every managers dream is manage a team playing in it

We have Watford promoted(well done to them)
can anyone see their manager Jokanovic still being in charge come Christmas?

same with Eddie Howe at Bournemouth
will he still be there if they are marooned in the bottom three come the same time?

cant help thinking there`s two sides who will have a change of manager before the end of the 2015/16
season
