SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER 3:00PM KICK OFF

LAST MATCH
We kicked off the new season with a drab win on penalties after an uninspiring 0-0 draw in 90 minutes. So onto the league campaign where we find ourselves in a bit of a pickle, starting on -12 points before even a ball is kicked thanks to our financial naughtiness. We are appealing but that could take several months. We are probably going to need 60+ points to try and stave off relegation but at the moment I just cant see it. Quite a few players have left the club, Fletcher, Fessi, Fox, Hutch, Winnall the more notable ones. We have brought 5 in, Windass, Dele-Bisharu, Dunkley, Brown and Kuchunga. We still need a couple of strikers to come in and we may have a chance of staying up but I am not confident at all.
THE MATCH
A nice easy start to the new season as we travel to Wales to play Cardiff. Cardiff made the playoffs last season but were knocked out by Fulham who went onto gain promotion. I expect them to make another playoff push this season. Neil Harris is in charge who did a decent job at Millwall and will be looking to take that extra step and back into the Premier League. They have the likes of Moore, Bamba, Tomlin, Hoillett & Mendez-Laing among there ranks.

Who plays up front, I've gone with Rhodes & Windass, although Kachunga will be in with a shout. Penney deserves a chance and there's the usual suspects.
