THE MATCH
WEDNESDAY 1ST JANUARY 3:00PM KICK OFF
v
LAST MATCH
We made it back to back defeats as we gave Cardiff a 2-0 start and never fully recovered. Defensively we started where we finished v Stoke, more holes than swiss cheese, as Cardiff flew into a 2-0 lead within 8 minutes, one from a quick free kick and the second from a simple ball over the top. We managed to get back into the game when Lees headed in from a corner. From then on we huffed and puffed and created some chances but didn't test there keeper enough. We made changes but Cardiff were resolute at the back and dealt with anything we could throw at them
b]THE MATCH[/b]
Our first game of 2020 and we entertain Hull City. Hopefully we can start the new year better than we ended last 2019. Hull are sitting mid table and will be looking to try and get into the playoffs. They are managed by Grant McCann who has previously managed Peterborough and Doncaster. There star asset is Jared Bowen who has 16 goals and 6 assists this season, the big question id can they hold off the premier league vultures who will be looking to buy him in the transfer window. Hull will be looking to do the double over us after winning 1-0 earlier in the season.
