Another defeat at home this time to the Green Army.

Another toothless display but, then most of our strikers are out injured and not likely to return in the foreseeable future.
In Chris Hussey and Sean Long we have two good wing backs who can and do get down the line and put really good crosses into the box. Unfortunately most of our available strikers seem to be about 5' 6" tall and need a step ladder to get to them.

I cannot agree with Manager Mike Duff that we won't be looking for a striker in the January window. Sadly, he seems to be all too complacent at our recent performances. Someone who can put the ball into the net must be top priority; even if we only loan a player for say 6 months.

Part of the problem are the mistakes that we made at the beginning of the season to bring in FGR rejects in Rueben Reid and Tahvlon Campbell.

Campbell is, even when fit, far too lightweight and tends to go missing if he gets roughed up. And Rueben has spent most of the season recovering from one injury or another.

We desperately need Luke Varney back and, until he is fit again,we will continue to struggle.
Not long ago we briefly topped the table but, recent results have seen us slip to seventh.

Thank heavens we had a good start to the season because we are seeing relegation form at the moment. Angry
