A lot of incomings for Forest this season Jeninson and keeper Samba for well over a million, a couple of free Adohmah and Amoebi but the one interesting one is Bostwick on loan from Toulouse. Once hailed as having a bright future he gradually worked his way down the leagues before going to Toulouse obviously Lamouchi has kept tabs on him could work out well for Bostwick.

One of my favourite away trips to the City Ground love the stadium and the area for being a sporting bonanza, results wise we have won the last two be nice to make it three difficult task though.
Barkhuizen, Clarke and Hughes likely non starters, cannot see many changes from the Wednesday game although Harrop for Barkhuizen could be an option.
Sold about a 1000 so decent support.
Match Officials: Nottingham Forest Away
The match official for Saturday’s trip to the City Ground is a man who oversaw the Lilywhites on four occasions in 2018/19.
Experienced referee Geoff Eltringham will be in charge as North End take on Nottingham Forest.

The last time we the north east official was for the superb home win over Norwich City back in February, before which he also refereed our final game of 2018, when we took a point from a fine performance against Aston Villa.

Prior to that he was referee when the Lilywhites travelled to Ashton Gate and defeated Lee Johnson’s Bristol City in October 2018 and also North End’s trip to Elland Road back in September, having also officiated five games for Alex Neil’s side in the 2017/18 season.
In that campaign, having taken charge our early season game at Derby County, Geoff also took charge of the Boxing Day trip to Barnsley, our January win at Nottingham Forest – meaning he has done this game before - March’s victory over Bristol City at Deepdale and finally our goalless draw with Norwich City in mid-April.

He also refereed one North End game in 2016/17, the home clash with our Barnsley, having also done one the previous season, the 1-0 home win over Reading.

The year prior to that he took charge of three PNE games, including the 2-0 home win over Peterborough United in March. Back in the 2013/14 campaign he also took charge of North End twice, both of those at Deepdale - the 1-1 draw with Tranmere Rovers back in November 2013 and then the goalless draw with Sheffield United in March.

The County Durham official is an experienced referee who had taken charge of North End a number of other times in the past including the very first game after the departure of Graham Westley, when John Dreyer took the team against an in-form Bournemouth side and ran out 2-0 winners.
He also looked after a thriller back in 2010, when North End overcame Crystal Palace 4-3 at Deepdale.
For the game, the referee will be assisted by Adrian Waters and Jonathan Hunt, whilst David Richardson will act as the fourth official.

Geoff has so far taken charge of four games this season, with eight cautions and no red cards issued and this will be his first visit to the City Ground since January 2018, when the visitors were… PNE!

Would have settled for a point before kick off just a shade disappointed we did not take all three but in fairness to the home side they were better than us in the second period although after Albert had equalised we probably shaded the last 10 minutes or son.
After a stroll down the banks of the Trent arrived at my seatjust in time to get soaked as the heavens opened, by the times the players came out for the game we had glorious sunshine.
Glourious could also be used to describe our first half performace, we were tremendous only disappointment we only scored one which in the end did actually cost us.
We passed the ball superbly forcing Forest back, keeper Samba made two routine saves before puching a raping drive from Harrop to safety, Forest were unable to handle Neil unique team selection of not playing a solitary forward in the starting line up.
When we finally took the lead cannot say anyone was surpised Forest didn't deal with a Bodin shot, he got a bit lucky and the ball rebounde too him, no mistake one up.
Within a minute Harrop nearly made it two following a great team move'

Forest brought on Sow on at the break, he ended up being Forest's MOM.We never really got going in the second half think they changed formation and it worked for them, compared to the first half the game was a lot scrappier, with our professionalism coming into play in the second half, it wound the home side up the #teamslikepreston thread is taking a hammering tonight.
Apart from a Grabban miss they didn't really create a lot even though they had tons of possession, then on came Albert first touch goal although may have been offside not given.
They pushed for the winner Rudd saved from Lolley, we had a couple of chances but points shared probably just about right.

Nottingham Forest head coach Sabri Lamouchi:

"After the first half it was difficult. At one down, it was lucky for us because Preston started the game in a good way and we didn't play the first half.

"They won the first half, we won the second because we started to play. We changed something, we were more aggressive, we had more rhythm, and we tried until the end to win.

"The positive is that we stayed in the game, we came back into the game, and we never gave up."

Preston manager Alex Neil:

"In the first half, we had probably four very, very good chances, the keeper makes a couple of good saves and we get a good goal. I thought we were totally dominant in the first half and I don't think they had an answer for us.

"We knew they were going to come out and be more aggressive in the second half and I knew that was going to be difficult because the pace at the top end of the pitch isn't available at the moment.

"We needed to be a bit braver and force the ball through the middle a bit more, but naturally when you're winning the game you're a bit reluctant to do it. I thought Forest did the scrappy bits of the game in the second half better than us."
