Craig Dawson has no heart anymore, Jake Livermore was Captain today
Heaven help us
1 win in 9 games at home!!
Big Dave i love you but time to go. >>>>>  Confused

We know your right - now he has gone, I still hold him in high regard.
I have never called him a Legend though, 100 games for us and never won anything as such - 2 international caps.
His human kindness was legendary - but not his football achievements.
I’m sure this is the right decision but I feel terrible about it, I almost feel personally responsible. However, I’m bloody angry with whoever appointed him and put this truly good man in entirely the wrong job because, as they’d make a previously crap appointment in Pardew, they copped out and went for a safe, cheap and dispensible option. Darren, I’m genuinely sorry it’s come to this, you deserved better from those in charge but they sold you down the river
When the opposition have 22 shots and 7 are on target, you’re asking for trouble. I can’t remember the stats for the Derby game (lost 4-1) but they were horrendous too.
Big Dave had chances to get things right. It’s been baffling to many of us why he didn’t. Graeme Jones has gone too. He was also culpable.
Who do we fancy next?
Back home from another awful performance.
Only players to emerge with any credit in my eyes were Townsend & Murphy.
Gayle looked frustrated, Dawson disinterested, Livermore non-existenet and Jrod what was his role ?
Everyone else poor - we made Ipswich look like play-off contenders.
Never nice when someone loses their job, but this really is the right decision if we are to salvage anything from this season.
Automatic promotion is beyond our reach (which given the squad we have is a disgrace) , but we now need to consolidate in the top six and start finding some real form before the playoffs.
Now the problem will be who do the clueless owners appoint, I don't have a lot of confidence that they will make the right call.
Maybe I won’t sell the Chat Forum just yet - should be some interesting banter these next few weeks.

Who is out there and available to manage a top 4 Championship Team?

I don't care about someone to manage a top four championship team I want someone to manage us. We are currently top four in position only, we have been dreadful most of the season. This squad should have been top two if not champions, the squad last year should have been mid table prem at least, what do they have in common, a manager not up to the job, a board not willing to make the hard choices, a board looking for the cheap option ...... Look where we are now ...... top two now would be on a par with the great escape only hope is to get a guy in fast who can galvanize the squad, pick the right tactics, the right players for those tactics and the right players in the right positions. Has to be done now .... ten games thirty points, 91 still a potential top two total ....... here's hoping, who spiked my tea with LSD.

After the result today I just knew, I would hear of his sacking. It was not a surprise at all. The team had lost its way and, sadly, DM and coaching staff seem not to be able to galvanise them.

I hate seeing a good man lose his job. He undoubtedly wanted to do his best for us all and The Albion, but despite the shock being expressed across the media and social media, I think it’s a brave and correct decision.

We made the decision too late last season and so at least time someone will have time to make an impact.

My problem is the owner and the board seem to be incompetent and unable. So why should we have confidence that they can recruit the right man?
