We have jake and Gareth

Yeah he had a great game, we most certainly did not.
I think the end of DM's tenure is in sight, he has not had the support of the owner and chairman but to keep playing three in midfield when we get over run with no out ball is asking for trouble ....... to keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result is suicide.
Well. I make that win 1-0 over all then!

But seriously this was a clear statement that we are, at best, a play-off candidate.

Sheff Utd and Leeds are the real deal and we did not show up. We did not even compete and it’s a sad state of affairs.

BD is a good man. He has a first class coach to support and advise him. But still there is no compelling evidence that we can be top two.

I am settled in mind that we are in the Championship for a few years now.

Consolation is that being top half is better than bottom half.

Money and positive ownership are key and we have neither of those things.
Where has that bright start to the season go? It seems that other managers are clued into Moore' game and from our position in the table after this defeat, with the 2 teams above us and the two below us having two games in hand if they win them, we'll drop to 5th and Bristol C one point behind. So unless we can begin winning at home, were 7/8/9 teams win most of their games we could be lucky to make the play-offs. Which I think we will - just.

Q: Should we be looking for any Manager as Fulham and Leicester have, or stick with Moore?

Snoots, don't be afraid we have had these issues all season and have not learnt from it ...... play offs at a push and humiliation again to Pulisball
I think the worst thing about Darren that has grown since Xmas is his lack of honesty. And his honesty to himself.
He stands up last week and says things have to change, then states we have a fully fit squad to pick from yesterday.
Gibbs being dropped is one thing, but Tosin at LB who ever decided that does need the sack. It's as simple as that for me.
Not really worth talking about the performance tonight, I will say 1 shot yes 1 shot on target. Same as SU same result for me.
This years forgotten rebuild has to come back on the agenda and how we are going to mount a serious
challenge to get back to the PL next season. After that the parachute money would have gone, we shouldn't be
worried about any of the so called PL players leaving - they got us relegated and have failed in the championship.
I'd rather forget promotion and get the youngsters playing NOW week in & week out.
Big thank you to Darren for your efforts - Nicest manager we have had for many many years.
Leeds played midweek this time, but once again it was WBA who looked sluggish. Leeds ran all over them. Moore's midfield selections were wrong, and concerning thing is it took Barry nearly getting sent off for him to change things. I'm not sure the formation ever changed though to try and stop the momentum Leeds had, how were we ever going to win that playing our full backs in the wrong position??? Sackabke offence that on its own, then we have three slow midfielders being over run OK how many times have we said that this year and why we are on the subject of how many times this year why is our best forward on the wing???
Sorry guys I just can not see this in anyway being acceptable from our head coach Angry

You were spot on about the need for a midfielder and this result being worse than the home result.
Does anyone mind if I laugh at tonight’s shambles? It’s a xxxx joke. Laugh

It's a club issue, Jenkins put him in the job. Great for unity, but sentiment has no place in football.

But I think most of us are agreed that player selections and set-up (433, 352 etc) have been baffling when they demonstrably haven’t worked, game after game. And who coaches defenders to back off and back off, allowing the player on the ball all the time in the world to keep advancing and then shoot? Happens too often with Albion.
If Sheffield United didn’t sound alarm bells for Darren Moore, Leeds United must.
Two games, 4 shots on target, but more worryingly, two dismal performances.
DM said after tonight’s game Leeds’s first goal gave Albion a mountain to climb.
Well Darren, we’ve had 19 mountains to climb this season, eight at home, 11 away, the times the opposition has scored first. For a team hoping for promotion, we’re giving ourselves a little bit too much to do too many times.
We’re a little bit fortunate to be where we are, and that’s mostly thanks to our away results, which is at least great for the travelling fans.
What I ask is that you pick a formation that won’t get us overrun in midfield, and please tell the truth about injuries so that we can tell whether or not you’re picking the best XI and in their right positions. Because on tonight’s showing, and on too many other occasions, you’ve failed at both, and it’s really, really frustrating. You are a nice guy and we don’t want to see you fail for the wrong reasons.
I hope I feel better in the morning.
