...and it looks like Neil Lennon to take over until season end! And ironically his 1st match as Celtic manager will be v Hibs in the cup - possible "pay back" from Lenny to certain Hibs players and Hibs officials!? Never a dull moment in Scottish footie!
Something is very wrong with football's values when a manager chooses Leicester City over Celtic ........ and then Celtic go for an ex-Leicester player to make sure they win the league.
Money Money Money..... Rodgers will be getting much more money personally salary wise and to buy players.

To go at this stage of the season though is pretty shoddy.
Yep! Totally agree and it is about money money money!! Note also that Brendan Rodgers has a property portfolio of approx 105 properties!!!! Money money money and I'd also comment that if Neil Lennon does indeed take over, he'll be adding to his already substantial financial assets too!! Money money money again! That is the real truth of the matter!!
It also means questions need to be asked about the all too convenient way lennon departed hibs, its too much of a coincidence that he suddenly got emptied as Rodgers heads back down the road.

Rodgers to Leicester has happened way too fast for this not to have been in the works for a while.
Now that it's nearly settled for Rogers going to Leicester some Celtic fans will be wondering if their board should have given him extra finances to see them qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions league
As has been said earlier money is the main factor in today's world and probably made up Rogers mind.
Hibs may yet regret the way they parted with Lennon.
Lennon and his agent at lennoxtown right now, every chance he may be in the dug-out for the morn's game at tynecastle!!

He better bring some extra security Laugh
It does look as though Leicester were waiting for a seriously bad result to justify a sacking they'd already decided upon and that they KNEW Puel's successor before Crystal Palace scored a goal. This does make you wonder how personally rich a man has to get not to be primarily motivated by money.

Claude Puel has come out of this looking and sounding far more elegant than those around him and taking over from him. If I'd have been in charge at Celtic M. Puel would have got the job.
IMO Puel would never come up here in any kinda management role in Scot footie. That is the way it is for many managers like him - not attractive enough!
Also Celtic's compensation reputed to be 6-7M quid!!! More money "in the CFC coffers"!
