Just wondering if Haper has signed a new contract and I have missed it or has he still not signed, which would be worrying, when a month ago it was only supposed to be a few days away. He can't claim he is not getting game time, so what else could be holding him back?
Maybe he's awaiting his 19th birthday in March (he can sign a 5 year contract then which is worth more pennies)
Or he's waiting for Stoke to come in with a £20 million offer ?
And talking of Stoke - Saido Berahino has been arrested in London for drink driving! Seems like he'll never change. Glad we got shot of him!
Rakeem Harper - give him a long contract now!
Joking apart I have seen something on Twitter that some sort of news may be forthcoming tomorrow,
Unfortunately I've heard it's not very promising either Confused
Much to consider for such a youngster? Are his future and the clubs ambitions going in the same direction.
West Brom have invested in him since he was a young boy. Darren is a massive influence on his decision.
Obviously agents and family are advising him, with his break through this year riches that were in his dreams are now within his grasp.
The big question and only question is "How much is loyalty worth"
If anyone offers to increase his salary ten fold and a signing on fee of £500,000 what should he do?
I know what anyone of us would do - we would be off sharpish.
Agents and family would also be getting full wallets, the club will get some rewards also.
If Harper has ambition he has to go and find it - Our owners have shown they aren't bothered if we are successful or not.
All our other remaining quality players will be reviewing their options if we don't get promoted this year.
JRod - Gibbs - Dawson - Hegazi - Phillips - Livermore will all be available for a price.
This is what the championship offers! So many of our fans craved for it - now we have it. The reality is a bitter pill, not this fantastic feeling of winning games and fighting against relegation a distant memory. Look around at the clubs stuck in the championship - they struggle with owners investing. What does our future hold with an owner who refuses to invest a penny. If we don't get promotion this season the roller coaster will be on a long downhill run.

Article doesn't say all that much but I guess we can take encouragement.
WBAFANTV @WBA ..

Academy star Rekeem Harper is ‘one step closer’ to signing a new contract at Albion.

#WBA

Maybe the other guy on twitter as London baggies is a wind up merchant ?
Well that was a damp sqib the update is as much as I heard two weeks ago ..
He has a deal on the table , we hope he signs it says DM Confused

Rekeem Harper’s new deal at #wba has moved ‘one step closer’, according to Darren Moore https://t.co/18Kn2xSJHn
Looking promising, except for I feel that the delays appear to be coming from Harper's advisers, some agents have to be the scum of football. After all their bleating and whining "we are only looking after the benefits of our clients", no they are not.......... they are looking after the benefits of themselves. Was it in SB's best interests to go to Stoke or Brown's best interests to move to Chelsea? These agents are too greedy and only interested in money today, most are to thick to realise that if they hold back another year or two they could be making serious money if and when the big move comes. I can only assume they are so rubbish at their jobs of spotting a future star and have so little faith in their clients abilities, that they want to take the money today, client be dammed.

The 2 examples you have used weren't the best - both were sold at the right time from the agents point of view.
We know Brown's been physically injured and unfortunately Saido now has mental issues  Doh
