Passionate fans no doubt, big club? Certainly in their eyes, do they have what it takes to break the Top Six? Or at least be the Everton club?

Lot made recently about Mike Ashley having the biggest wage budget in the Championship, which is great or actually great due to Rafa selling Wijnaldum, Sissoko, Cabella and Janmaat at hugely inflated prices of their worth

After a pretty good first season back in the EPL, particularly after January is it kick on or struggle?

Certainly he`s a highly rated Manager, find him a bit dour myself , likes his 4-3-3

So despite pretty good goalkeeping options in Darlow who has got worse, Harper who he hasnt trusted, young highly rated Woodman who was pants on loan at Aberdeen, Sels who cost 6.5M as was booted out on loan quick as, theyve just brought in Dubravka who was great on loan proving perhaps there are bargains to be found in the smaller leagues

Full back looks in need of an upgrade with Manquillo, Yedlin and Dummet who is really a centre half all being pedestrian, Jetro Williams (Frankfurt) or even Luke Shaw might be a lot bigger statement of intent

Centre Half pairing of Clark and Lascelles really stepped up well, Dummett again can step in but clearly Rafa dosent fancy Mbemba who actually might work well at DM

Central mid-well Shelvey was a revelation and now showing his best form although not quite in the Livermore class though to get an England recall Whistle Colback proved he wasnt good enough, Hayden and Merino never really good enough at DM this is an area that needs strengthening

attacking mid-Who would've thought Diame who hardly was gold in the Championship becoming the Nedved of Newcastle? Still strength in depth is essential and Ayoze Perez i`m not sure is the answer

Wings-Rolando Aarons 5 year contract hasn't done much still not as bad as Rodwell, Atsu had cheap signing written all over it, Kenedy was great the other side of Matt Ritchie but 15M+ might be too much for a Chelsea reserve, Jacob Murphy didnt make the most

up front- Dwight Gayle isnt trusted and dosent score enough at this level, Shaquiri of Stoke for the AM/WF position and Gayle going to Staffordshire would probably be good for both parties and bring in some real class to NUFC. Slimani isnt an option, unless you dont want your money back. Mitrovic should go to Fulham they love him, Rafa dosent. Joselu is functional, he hits more shots sideways than forwards an upgrade is needed so badly. Noises at the moment about Joshua King of Bournemouth
