LAST MATCH

Oh Dear. Playing a football game with no strikers is never a good idea and so it proved as we went to defeat to Millwall. Jos decided to play Boyd & Wallace up front for some reason, while the "rested" Joao and Nuhiu were on the bench. Pelupessy got his first for the club with a cracking finish. Mistakes at the back gave Millwall there 2 goals and Thorniley went off with a serious looking facial injury, more than likely joining our list of long term injuries Doh

THE MATCH

A chance for us to do a double as Villa make he trip to Hillsborough. We won at Villa park a few months ago with Reach & Rhodes on the score-sheet. Villa had been in great form prior to there defeat to Fulham & Tuesday nights draw against Preston, and now lie third in the Championship. Hopefully no more silly team selections after the Millwall debacle.

I think we will win this god knows how but i feel Bruce is wavering like he always does come this time of the season near the top 2 positions ! got to get some studs in snodgrass though straight away let pudil at him and keep that poncy fox well away from him and if possible well aay from the first team Whistle drop jones for minge bring back Reach of course and ffs play Joao from the start with whoever you like apart from wallace and Boyd who should be shown the door Angry

Cheers, Kev.

I just can't with this lot anymore, I can't understand the new gaffer either.

The ref was a complete xxxx last night. He allowed the play to continue after a clear head injury.

For posting the same score and scorer as a previous poster on the Millwall thread.
Doh is he realy that xxxx stupid Doh
Didnt see the ref the first half statesider but he couldnt blow a foul for thorniley and shouldnt have done because he threw his face into the studs of the player after he had been skinned ! im sure if it were us visa vera it would have been a foul ! but it wasnt the Millwalls players fault ! it was quite funny though after that as everything he gave you could see him thinking about his journey home Laugh i use to work in that shithole and had the same journey home and ive been lucky enough to watch wednesday there twice and its frightening its not chelsea westham or leeds it is scary shit Laugh charing cross the only connection with british rail Doh and its fight for youre xxxx life to get home without being stabbed to death Laugh ffs west ham fans shit themslefs at ever having to go down there Laugh
Highlight from today's Presser:

JL: Thorniley out for a week or two.
JL: Rhodes back training and available for Saturday.
JL: We see the players everyday and their physical situation, we must handle the situation we have
JL: In the short time I’m here, we have had a lot of challenges and I must make the best decisions for every game
JL: We must closely monitor the players, I’m 6 weeks here and the players playing have not had much football over the last months

Interesting news about George Hirst:

George Hirst is now back training with the first team squad
Plays for the Under 23's in the next game
He's not played for eight months so needs to get match fit
Potential for moving into the first eleven once match fit
I can't say that George Hirst will stay at the club
There are two parts - the player and the club
Right now I have the player and we must have patience for a good outcome and solution on the club side.
You cannot expect the player to be 100% for his performance after eight months out.

Would still expect him to leave in the summer, unless there have been some serious negotiations going on behind the scenes.
