Ndong looks gone; Sunderland midfielder on brink of loan move to Watford with £8m option to buy

https://rokerreport.sbnation.com/2018/1/...ion-to-buy

Could be very decent with the right manager and motivation
Sunderland are just taking massive hits on players they signed and losing even more by odd loans
Sunderland are in need of completely clearing the decks and starting again, even if that ends up in League 1. I reckon Coleman has been told he is safe no matter what.
The Double Drop! Oof

lots of financial mistakes going on Goalkeeper Mika Domingues on 30K a week, never played a game for them just been released after 18 months!

James Vaughan just sold off to Wigan not a lot of Forwards there anyway, lot of pressure on young but impressive Joel Asoro and perhaps John Walters on loan to fire them to safety

The likes of Lens and Khaziri certainly aren't bad players but they`ll never get anywhere near the money back, they are going to take a hit on so many players (Watmore could be good for you)

Do look they have a real good academy though and players starting to come through
Jack Rodwell on 70k per week and never getting a game...
Posted about that in the Sunderland forum

The player`s stats and performance for the club, plus injury record have been awful
but who is to blame the player or the person who put him on a 5-year guaranteed 70k pw with no relegation clause?

Rodwell apparently wont walk away from the contract which has 18 months to run but at the same time appears keen at 26 years old to play football and get his career back on track

Even at 35k a week how many even Championships clubs would take a risk?
