Couldn't fault the effort, Just lacked a bit of quality and composure at times. Ref was fecking appalling, Hazard wasa cheating twat, and absolutely detest Sky and it's cockney mafia pundits.

Couldn't get more biased if you tried , Henry-Arsenal,Redknapp-Spurs, oh and Lampard-Chelsea
Yeah well played lads you gave everything we could have won that,
Rondon should have shot earlier when through, Chadli should have scored, yet for all their tipy tappy football the scored from a miscued shot that turned out to be pass of the night !!!!!!
Just bring the age of the squad down a little and add a bit of flair up front and this counter attacking under TP might just work.
The less said about the ref the better Angry
Having had a night to reflect on yesterday's game, there are certainly several "plusses" to take from this game:-
1) Yes we defended well but we also looked to attack on the break, with pace. We just needed to be more clinical with our finishing.
2) Sam Field had a great game. It was a shame he took that knock at the end of the 1st half which resulted in him being subbed early in the 2nd half.
3) Gareth McCauley was immense! Again it was shame his night ended early due to injury. Please note TP, Gareth is better than JT, so we don't want or need JT at our club!
4) The Hawthorns was rocking again!

The negatives were:-
1) Atrocious referee! Had he been paid by Chelsea because he was so biased it certainly looked that way!
2) Their goal looked offside from where I sit in the East Stand. Haven't seen a replay yet.
3) Four corners that were over-hit! We need to utilise our set play situations!
4) Disgusting behaviour of so called fans, running on the pitch as sitting in home areas and goading our fans.
5) No lap of honour by the Baggies. This is the first time in a quarter of a century that our players didn't do a lap of honour and applaud our fans. We had every right to applaud them for giving us a great season yet we couldn't because the plastic cockney fans wanted to celebrate with their team. This really angers me the most. We deserve to have a lap of honour from our players. The Chelski fans can celebrate at Stamford Bridge next week. I will be e-mailing the club to express my disgust at this!
Rant over. Now let's play the same against Man City and Swansea! Boing Boing!
Some excellent performances in a gallant defeat. Another day and we might well have won because their goal was, to say the least, fortunate. It says how well we defended that players like Costa and Fabregas looked increasingly ordinary. Their main strategy seemed to be Hazard's falling over round the box.
Thought Dawson, Evans and Macauley played well. Foster did well what little he had to. I was very impressed by Yacob who looked a class player. I think Pulis was right with the subs, although both Field and McLean played well. Either of them could have been in trouble with the ref with Chelsea trying to buy fouls so often.
I think Pulis might have his work cut out to keep the performance levels of Livermore and especially Chadli, consistently good. They both seem inconsistent.
Did they present the Premier League trophy last night? I switched off at the final whistle simply because I can't stand Chelski and their pathetic fans*. Fair play - their team looked so slick 1st half, but so would most Clubs who are endowed with open cheque books.
Was there any trouble?

(* They showed their true colours a couple of years ago in the FA Cup Final v Liverpool.
Liverpool came back into the game so strongly and you could cut the atmosphere with a knife, so that no supporter could take their eye off the game. But the camera took a couple of seconds to scan onto the Chelsea End at another Liverpool corner, and 1/2 dozen fans were texting!! Pathetic plastic fans!)
Bournemouth & Southampton win drawing level with us on 45 points
..........
After the Man City game our GD will be a lot worse so Southampton will probably be above us by midweek !!!
Beefy, have confidence !  We're gonna give them a whuppin' !!!

Wink
Beefy, Saints are playing Man Utd, their goal difference is just as likely to get a kicking. Swansea may be safe by next week ...... giving us a chance of the three points.

Baggieman i like your'e confidence,
4Eva Saints are going to be playing a boring Man Utd side who Jose has already said he is going to play youth players as his main aim is to win the Europa league hence qualifying them to the champions League
I expect saints to get at least a point
