I still buy one on a sunday SCO,but you are right the only people i normally see buying them through the week are the old boys. Sometimes i think the news is tailored for them specifically.

I notice today the times poll saying most english value brexit more than the union.Even though they haven't a clue what brexit is yet.
Now your end line indicates to me a huge amount of ignorance attached to these people but lets not forget the 'patriot' word either. Again it indicates to me the hugely different culture and values between the two countries! Also I notice that quisling and failed NLP leader, Gordon Broon, 'sticking his nose' in the debate - the man who promised a lot with his belated interference in 2014 and we didn't even get Devomax contrary to the promises of his 'amigos and him'!! Thumb down

Great speech from the sturgeonator today.
A top class orator and leader of the SNP! We are so fortunate to have Sturgeon as the guvnor up here but she's definitely not appreciated enough by many Scots with other inclinations!!! We are now 'in limbo' and I wonder what the next move will be in this political game of chess as the Scottish people effectively watch and wait to see if and when a new political campaign for separation will unfold!!
Meanwhile Cruella announces the activation date for Article 50 - 29 March 2017. It's a pity I couldn't accurately utter BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH eh as these Tory c#### lead us 'into an economic mire' with hardly any opposition whatsoever - absolutely disgraceful!! Thumb down
I watched bbc prog, 'Brexit - Scotland's Dilemma' and it presents an interesting analogy with the NI- Eire cross border arrangement that will likely unfold. I listened to the comments of the Scot Tory Leader, Ruth Davidson, and she is peddling the same myth re the Spanish govt opposition to Scotland's poss EU membership as well as the opposition of the 27 EU member states! This woman never changes with the same shameless tactics as observed previously in referendum year, 2014 (+later years) and really has a deluded high regard for herself and her political status in Scotland but well sussed in many Scottish quarters - a staunch unionist who will peddle any kinda alarmist shit, or similar dishonourable shenanigans/u turns, to avert any significant move towards separation! It confirms what we're up against with antagonists like Davidson, and indeed Dugdale, who cheekily present their case 'on behalf of the Scottish people' but, in reality, are actually lightweight, unimpressive political opponents compared with a political stalwart like Nicola Sturgeon!!
Nicola certainly is a "political stalwart". On the same programme, she said she wasn't "going to jump the gun". What a hypocrite!!! She's done nothing else for the past 9 months.

Theresa and Nicola are exactly the same type. Both sleekit wee nippy sweeties.
I'd say Sturgeon is the best political leader in the UK by a country mile but I'm biased but still basing that view on her sterling performances as the 1st Minister of Scotland with Scotland's interests at heart. Also jump the gun????? She has 'started the ball rolling' and presented that possibility of a second referendum coming about but that's it. She has set up a scenario where we, the Scottish people, are gonna potentially observe the biggest economic 'cock ups' in UK political history with a big financial impact/hit on every UK household and then she'll present the case to formally separate and GTF away from the political morons who engineered this 'mess' from within their own political party and presented what was effectively a shameless 'illusion' to the British public without a proper mandate to do it!! I call that cute politics and do remember her own mandate as an SNP member and solid leader of the Scottish govt before calling her a hypocrite in the 'true sense of the word'! I must also comment if the proper promised Devomax had been empowered to the Scot gov in 2015, I believe we wouldn't be debating this issue but the Brexit vote would've still created an element of great consternation and some form of contingency would be rightly prepared to eventually 'pave the way' for the possibility of separation!
We'll just have to agree to disagree on Nicola, 0762, but I still stand by my opinion of her.
Interesting that BMWs financial results show they sold 2.4 million cars in 2016, that's 7 billion Euros. About 6% of that was in the Uk. They could easily take the hit if the UK wants to play hardball,i'd imagine british consumers would probably still buy them anyway.

Another development on the eve of may pulling us out of the EU is that UK airlines are being told to move their operations to Europe or lose the best routes. A compromise is being hampered because may wants the UK out of the ECJ which currently has the key role in adjudicating over conflicts between parties to the agreement.

Job losses are looking more likely.
