There was a recent Daily Express front page headline published right after the "landslide" GE result for the SNP and it read "Bitterness and Division in Scotland" - totally "out of touch" with reality on the ground but still trying to get to "pockets" of the Scottish population who will be "taken in" by this bullshit. What happened in Ireland is no different to what is continually being "peppered" at the Scottish people by the usual RW media/press suspects up here and has been going on for years. It is a massive conspiracy that is driven by unionists and British state conspirators to force a political ideology on a population that doesn't recognise that ideology and still favour governance by a political party that has no great affiliation to any Westminster party or unionism itself. It is absolutely undemocratic and a disgrace and yet allowed to happen under a "freedom of speech" label much like populism and the spreading of populist "poison"!!
A recent SNP research study of the House of Lords revealed some startling facts re the number of Scottish peers who were paid just under £3M (2017-18) from the Scot Exchequer - A SHOCKING DISCONNECT BETWEEN THE HOUSE OF LORDS AND SCOTLAND!!
It transpires that Scotland has 87 peers and ALL OF THEM ARE UNIONISTS, not one of them is an SNP peer but note I'm glad to say the SNP want no royal recognition by choice!! So none of these peers support Scotindy - how unrepresentative of the Scot population, disgraceful!!! The percentage of Scotland's peers who were privately educated = 60% while the percentage of Scotland's population who were privately educated = 0.054% - WHAT A FARCE AND AGAIN UNREPRESENTATIVE OF THE PEOPLE WHO RESIDE IN SCOTLAND!!!
Also the percentage of female peers = 14% while 51% of the Scot population is female - again so f###### unrepresentative of the real core of people who live in Scotland!! Delighted to scrap it altogether as part of an eventual Scotindy plan - what a waste of money with lotsa "noses in the trough"!!
Scotland (and presumably Wales too) won't be able to set their budgets for the coming year because the UK Govt cancelled it's Budget and has decided to have one on March 11th...the day budgets have to be set by law.

You are absolutely right, it is total spite v a devolved govt that has no association to the Tories own poisonous political ideology. Is it a breach of the Treaty of Union 1707???? I wish it was but in such a scenario we must have the majority of the Scottish people "on board" and backing a formal forced separation, something that sadly I can't see happening yet!! Farther to that, is the lawful signing off of the EU Withdrawal Bill a gross violation of the Treaty of Union 1707??? I think that is more of a distinct possibility if tested in a law court but again we must have a solid Scottish population behind a Scot govt that we have consistently backed in the past decade in the clear knowledge that the SNP has a mandate to acquire Scottish Independence preferably in a systematic civil process of separation!!

The Scottish government could create a budget for Scotland based on the monies accrued by Westminster from Scotland over the past twelve months and send it in to them down south to cough up and pay for it or they can go and piss off.

It really is time we got in a fight but we need our population behind us!!! I am getting angry and impatient and I'm betting there are swathes of fellow Scots who are "in the same boat". I'd even go to an International Law Court if I knew that we could force "movement" on the sovereign right of our people to acquire self-determination!!
