THE MATCH - SATURDAY 31ST DECEMBER 2016 at 3PM BST

[Image: PNE_FC.png]    V    [Image: 150px-SWFC_pre-1970.png]

Feels like just yesterday when we played these guys at S6, not sure how the fixture computer puts these two games so close together?? That game cost them more than just three points though, two players fighting each other with subsequent bans and they refunded all their away supporters who made the journey across the hills as well!!!  Lets hope they turn on each other again!!

Of course we also have the Forestieri issue against them to watch out for!!  He has been red carded in the last two games against them, lets hope he doesn't pick up an unwanted hat trick!!

This will be the 106th meeting between us with an even record of W41 D23 L41. Our away record is not so good and in the last 10 games we have only won 1 of them!!  Perfect time to improve that record!!

THE LAST MATCH

Probably the best team performance of the season so far saw us deservedly take all 3 points from St James' Park!!  An unlikely win for sure but one we worked very hard to achieve!!  Imre had Westwood as MOM, I would have picked Hutchinson personally but such was the team performance that a few other players could easily come into the debate!!  Seen quite a bit of moaning from Geodies regarding the number of fouls and rough play from us, well f uck you toonland, if you are so upset because a team dare to come to your gaff and not roll over and get hammered then you just confirm the complete arrogance you have always displayed as fans who feel they deserve the right to be successful!!!

WHO'S IN AND WHO'S OUT

No fresh injury worries that I am aware of and not sure of Lee's status, but will we see McManaman come straight into the team?? Here is my team:

Westwood

Palmer  Loovens Lees   Pudil

McManaman  Hutchinson  Bannan Reach

Forestieri

Fletcher

What team would you like to see??

Nice one , SCO Thumb up

This could go either way IMO. Someone is due a spanking but I'm not sure this is it. Still jet lagged and unimpressed about the impossibility of getting owt done in this country, but let's be positive and say....

Latest RS interview with CC.

Urby injured and has 'a special boot of his foot to walk' and no talks of shipping out Matias on loan. Taking one game at a time in terms of recovery and rotations. Lee is back in training and hopes to be available if needed.
