I’d take Pearson. It’s time we were selfish. If it fails who cares if it taints something nearly 30 years ago. Take the best we can get now and give it a chance. Our fans are fickle anyway but then scream for nuhui to get a new deal. Only themselves to blame. Jj did it every contract time. It’s called putting yourself in the shop window and if that fails your skint parent club will take another chance coz u turned up for the last four games.

The first advice he should take is, rightly, get rid of Pub League Bullen and if Jos Unlucky continues to fail with a new coach then it's also time for him to go too.
All in all it's a f'ucking shambles at the minute and I actually feel sorry for the players. They must be almost as frustrated as we are
I honestly think it's not just 1 person to blame .. it's a combination of everything (including the fans expectations) .. every Owls fan needs to chill and lets this season run it's course, if it wasn't for those dirty blades and l**ds doing well it really wouldn't be so bad (or unexpected)... I am confident that next season will be better ..but before that we have to survive this one !!

It's DCs fault we are in this position ultimately but I don't blame him for what he did! We got an owner with money and he has pumped in into the club to the tune of 60m+, we have never seen investment at S6 like that before, but we as fans lapped it up and encouraged him to do so to push us to the promised land, and it so very nearly worked!! We as fans have such short memories and as a consequence of what he did in those first two seasons the expectation of our fans are at ridiculous levels. DC made a few key errors in hindsight, one was not somehow retaining the services of Mandaric in some form or other, or at least bringing in a Howard Wilkinson type figurehead for the football side of the business. He also shouldn't have jumped into be with Doyen as much as he did, but none of this mattered to us as long as the team did well, as we did in the two playoff seasons. Not getting rid of Carlos after the Huddersfield game was another mistake, called by Maddix and I think proved to be correct.
I don't lay any blame at Katrien's feet at all, she was brought in to try to guide us through the FFP issues, to be the club liaison with the EFL and in that sense she has done her job, getting us out of the embargo and also sitting on comittees to look at revamping the new P&S rules.
Whether Jos makes it or not is certainly up for debate but we cannot afford to let him go because of FFP at this time. We will need to sell some players in either January or early summer or else we face further sanctions, that is still a reality that will not go away, but until we have done that we will not be bringing in any new signings on big wages or transfer fees. We knew at the start of this season we were in for a fight to stay midtable, all of us predicted we would struggle, yet when we had a decent start and found ourselves in 6th place the fans expectations changed from reality to impossible overnight, since then we have reverted to type and what we expected and everyone is panicking!! We won't go down, we won't make the playoffs, we will be somewhere in between, just like we find ourselves today.
