So after gaining 4 points from two away games we are back at S6 for the first time in what feels like ages!! QPR are our visitors, a team which seem to be a bit jeckyl and hyde in so much as you don't know which team will turn up. Since they came back down from the prem they have simply been mid table and this season may be heading the same way. Having said that they sit just 3 places and 2 points behind us and are unbeaten in 5 games although they have drawn 3 of them, so they are right there in the mix at this early stage. Away from home this season they have not been too bad though, winning at Cardiff, Wigan and Fulham so maybe they are better away from their own fans because we know they will only bring a minibus full to Hillsborough!!!

This will be the 66th meeting with QPR, ironically exactly the same number of times as our last opponents Cardiff!!! We have slightly the upper hand in terms of the record down the years at W28, D16, L21. We didn't play them at all until 1948 and won 8 of the first 9 games at S6 and our last 10 home games against them see us doing well at W5, D2, L3, so lets hope we can continue that form.

Last season saw us get a draw at home, coming back from 0-1 down to get a draw with a rare Nuhiu goal!!! Pei will enjoy this video, especially the bit where Nuhiu misses a penalty:

THE LAST MATCH

A dominant performance in terms of possession but as we have seen this season that doesn't translate into goals for us at the moment. Went down early to a well taken free kick that probably shouldn't have been given but we continued to press and from that point on had most of the better chances, finally getting a goal from Pudil after some good play leading up to the goal. Two points dropped or one point gained against our nemesis Colin??

WHO'S IN AND WHO'S OUT

Not sure why we even try to guess the line up from match to match because we never get it right with Carlos' tinkering with the team!!! Westwood went off injured, not sure what his status is so will Dawson get the start? Will Palmer and Pudil keep the FB shirts? Bannan I assume will be back in, or will he after the midfield did well at Cardiff?? Is Fletcher back, and if so does he come in alongside Hooper or to replace him?? Here is my team:

Dawson

Palmer  Lees  Hutchinson  Pudil

Lee  Jones Bannan  Reach

Forestieri

Hooper

What team would you like to see??
