THE MATCH - WEDNESDAY 19TH OCTOBER 2016 at 7.45PM BST

A rare outing on a Wednesday night for us. And our old foe Colin has reappeared just in time for this one!! Cardiff were right up there with us until we finally put them away at S6 but they have struggled this year, seeing their manager depart and the "fixer" Colin being brought in to work his magic again like he did at Rotherham last season.

This will be the 66th meeting with Cardiff, with a very even record down the years. But our record at their place is not good and in the last ten games there we have W3, D1, L6, with it now being over 9 years since we took all three points!! So with Colin being back, with them coming of a win and it being a midweek game everything seems to align for a nice easy win for us!!!!

Last season saw us get a draw there, coming back from 2-0 down at HT with goals from Forestieri and Bannan in the second half.

THE LAST MATCH

Possibly our best team performance so far this season saw us take all three points off the Village, their first home defeat of the season!! We didn't have a ton of possession but used it well and seemed to be able to break with pace all match. Hooper ran the forward line well and we supported him from midfield as we need to. Definite penalty was the difference in the end, Forestieri nicely putting it away, but we had a few other chances to seal the win without too much troubling us at the other end. Could this be the game that spurs us on to better form and performances??

WHO'S IN AND WHO'S OUT

Defensively we looked solid, so no changes there. Midfield aside from Bannan all did well, he needs to be getting forward in the middle not out on the wing but both Jones and Lee played well enough to keep him out. Will CC go with width again or will he push Bannan back in the center?? Wallace did well when he came on and maybe thats how we should be using him. Hooper played well up front and Forestieri looked dangerous throughout, will be interesting to see if Fletcher gets back in. Here is my team:

Westwood

Palmer  Lees  Hutchinson  Pudil

Lee  Jones Bannan  Reach

Forestieri

Hooper

What team would you like to see??

DDDDD

Play exactly the same team except palmer and stick with the same tactic as we did against village and Colin wont have a clue what to do with the ball Whistle a point will be good if we can walk past QPR on saturday Thumb up

Thank god Colin got his first win under his belt and im quite confident after the Village game that we can stick one up the xxxx we are due one anyway Thumb up
Nice one, SCO!

Well that was a very good performance that I didn't expect. We frustrated and snuffed Hudds out well, they never stopped trying to be a threat, they play good football. I only watched the second half but thought both teams played a good game. Fessi was unlucky not to have scored earlier but he got the goal he needed eventually.

2-3 Hooper

what makes you say this you silly old goat ? Hooper and Fessi did a fine job today without him ? play Fessi outwide and the one on one with the Goalkeepers become non exsistant ? Hooper doesnt deserve to be dropped either ? and if all three play you can bet youre life its Fessi who will suffer position wise !!

FFS please watch a game without fidgitting about with youre cock in youre hand !!!
