Decent from Fulham tonight but lucky with two penalty claims but that's the way the cookie crumbles, Newcastle lack a big lummox up front, lots of pretty football but zonal marking at corners Rafa, oops. Credit to 7000 travelling but they weren't half quiet.
Fulham 1 Noocastle 0
The first or what will be numerous appearances on the box for those alleged giants of football QPR and Leeds ended in a deserved and easy win for the Hoops, an own goal, penalty and a goal for the giant German send Leeds into the drop zone. Leeds looked distinctly average although Antonsson had two decent chances at the end however rarely looked like troubling Smithies. Rob Green however had a poor game. Leeds need a striker, Rangers could be there or thereabouts.

QPR 3 Leeds 0
Wednesday were probably slightly fortunate to win the second TV game of the day after being dominated by Villa in the second half but if your keeper cocks up and sets up a sitter for Forestieri than you lose. Wednesday were hinder by Fletcher's injury which probably turned the game as they were on top until then.
McCormack looked a useful buy as he is but when you pay £12 million do you have him taking corners. Plenty of chances to see these two on the box again they are both on again in the next six days.

Owls 1Villa 0
Definite game of two halves, but the one clear cut chance was enough to win it!!
And he took it
Stuttgart 2 St Pauli 1 frenetic stuff, St Pauli should have been three up at half time, lost to a late goal, mind you if you were a chocolate coloured kit do you deserve to win. 52000 for a second division German game 4000 away support astonishing for a 800 mile plus round trip on a Monday
Luton 3 Villa 1 some comedy gold in this one, especially the own goal for the third, Villa hit the woodwork three times but Hatters deserved to win
Still going on Albion 3 up, Forest started well got worse although they have a prospect in Ollie Burke, lad has got some pace. Brighton seem to be the new love child of Sky Sports.
Chelsea 2 Hammers 1, deserved win, Hazard and Will I an played well, Hammers never in until Collons lobbed in a class equaliser. Kante and Costa both lucky not to get second yellows, Conte is going to be a top dude on the Premiership.

Listened t the commentary on this one and the consensus wa that the ref completely bottled the second yellow decisions for Kante and Costa!! Once a ref sets a standard with the first yellows, he has to follow through with the rest even if they have already been booked.
