Well were through to the second qualifying round but hardly flying through
Oh well European jitters and all that Big Grin
These games are just too early in the calendar!! I am sure that teams that play in these rounds get their players back in training earlier but their match fitness will be well down. There should be no competitive games until August and if that means restricting the entrants into the Europa League then so be it, either that or they need to change the format to get the rounds in quicker.
Its not ring rustiness that's the issue! The problem lies in the fact clubs, have to travel ridiculous distances for qualifying games.There should be a regional qualifying system in place.

While I agree with the idea of regional qualifying, the distance traveled is the same for both teams as they play one leg at home and one away.
Professionals should be ready to play regardless of where they are going,the simple truth is our teams aren't good enough.
Great 3-0 win last night in Croatia against a side who havent lost at home in Europe in 13 games!
They arent a bad Croatian side either, well done lads
