Former international number one Andy Goram believes Scotland have never had a better group of goalkeepers.

Manager Gordon Strachan this week suggested that Craig Gordon, David Marshall and Allan McGregor form the best "three" in international football.

Certainly I reckon the Best Scotland has had even though Particuarly Leighton/Gorham were magnificent players although I think theres has been better out there

Spain-Casillas/Valdes/De Gea

England-Shilton/Clemance/Corrigan

Germany-Illgner/Kopke/Khan

Holland-De Goey/Van der Saar/Snelders
I don't think it's just coincidence that we last qualified for international tournament finals when we had Goram and Leighton performing as well as any keeper in Europe. We haven't had a keeper do particularly well in qualifiers since then until the present campaign. Didn't think I'd ever be rooting for Marshall in goal but McGregor and Gordon for all their shot stopping ability have both become increasingly prone to blunders, while Marshall has got much better with age.
Banks/Bonneti/Springett were not bad either
