THE LAST MATCH

What can we say about the last exciting installment of our current season???  Basically CRAP!! Not going to dwell on that performance at all, lets just hope the takeover puts some life back into the team for the next game!!  Thankfully I found a video of the highlights that is only a minute long rather than the extended version!!




THE MATCH - SAT 31ST JAN 2015 KO 1500 GMT

Not going to go into the takeover much on this thread (could this finally be it!! ), lets wait for it to be ratified before we get too excited!!  So now we go onto play Reading!!  Reading came down from the prem a couple of years ago after spending only one year up there and missed the playoff last season by one point.  Many I think expected them to be challenging again this season but they have failed to deliver on that which cost Nigel Atkins his job in December, with Steve Clarke taking over from him.  They are currently 18th, 7 points behind us and 7 points above the relegation places.

This will only be our 18th game against them with a record of W8 D2 L7, and after a run of 10 years without beating them we have now won the last three games against them, including doing the double over them last season (2-0 at their place and 1-0 at the Old Lady)!! Here is the video of last seasons 2-0 win at their place, a game that saw Pearce giving away a penalty and being sent off for them after only 9 mins!!!  A nice repeat of this result would go a long way to lifting our gloom!!

Well where do we go with the team based on that last performance??  Defence stays the same I would imagine, Semedo will stay in, as will Mags I think but after that who knows!!!!  Would like to see Baker in there again and would prefer to see Helan back in but SG will still play Maguire no doubt!!   Up front pick any 2 from May, Nuhiu, Keane and maybe Lavery!!

The other is Leicester, who ironically were sold by MM to a different Thai consortium!!

money has changed hands this ratification is just a formality. Look at Celino, he got it and he's had money laundering and fraud charges in the last 5 years (I know it was over turned recently but he still owns the club)
