Lee Johnson returns "to the fold" after surgery and recuperation at the NRI. I wish him well for the future. The Dons are currently 3rd in the Scot Prem, but only 2 pts from Hibs position. So this is a big fixture tomorrow where Hibs need to "show up" and win this home match - it is that important in order to lay down a marker re where we wanna be in the months ahead. They'll be dangerous with a physically imposing CF up front who can score goals. I hope Porto has been briefed re what is expected of him as a Hibs defender - focus and perform effectively for the full match period! Their defence is not as good as it should be IMO. Hence we have a chance to win this match! Our regular prob centres on scoring goals and doing it consistently. More hope of this issue being resolved comes with the arrival of Mykola Kukharevych who certain looks the part with a height of 6'4", but can he deliver in this league? McKirdy is also available to deliver goals. The same question arises re his ability to "do the biz". We live in hope!! C'mon Hibs!

God i hated watching this mob under Mcinnes, hacking, cheating bastards.

A front 3 of Boyle/Melkerson/Youan would do it for me.

Cannae go the day unfortunately as i've badly sprained my ankle. But fingers crossed for 3 points.

Just back and what a vg 3-1 win today after falling behind so early in the match and Hibs leapfrog past the Dons' league position by 1 pt. Hibs not put off by the 0-1 setback and kept probing for an equaliser which arrived in the form of a Hibs pk/Boyly conversion mins before HT and the Dons additionally down to 10 men. Scales deservedly given a second yellow card, but well done to the Hibs support nudging this referee to do his job as it looked like he was gonna "kop out" of this decision. The big talking pt during HT was, "Could Hibs finish off this 10 man team with the lineup that Johnson had chosen"? They did it and well done re such a competent, controlled performance!! Thumb up Josh Campbell "stepping up to the plate" and scoring a "brace" of goals". Thank god for that as Mykola doesn't look like a pen box CF TBF although he put in a good shift and provided good support to Hibs midfield and flanking players. IMO Paul Hanlon was the MOTM mainly because he marshalled Hibs forward forays from the back, kept the likes of Porto in check and dealt with any forward threat from the Dons - displayed a lotta good nous and experience. Well done again!

Excellent 3 points in the end, we played some good stuff. I thought Scales sending off was a bit harsh at the time, need to see it again.
Even at 11 v 11 i thought we were always the better side and big Myko put himself about well. Nice to see Josh grabbing a couple of goals too.

Think thats it till we go to Dingwall in a couple of weeks but encouraging signs.
