LAST MATCH
Another game, a mixed performance and more points dropped. We never got going in the first half and Cambridge took the lead as we decided not to mark there player from a corner, who scored with a glancing header. We had a couple of chances towards the end of the half but went in trailing. Onto the second and when DM finally put some attacking players on we played better and were eventually rewarded when SB found Dele Bashiru who got in the box and scored with a tidy finish. Palmer had a late chance to win it but there keeper saved well
THE MATCH
Next up and Lincoln travel to Hillsborough for the first time in over 40 years when we were in the 3rd Division aka League One. Lincoln have made a disappointing start to the league and languish in 15th place. They are inconsistent, wining 2, drawing 2 and losing 2 of there last 6. They are managed by Michael Appleton who has been in charge for a couple of years, taking over from the Cowley brothers. Anthony Scully is there main threat with 7 goals and 3 assists so far. I expect them to improve but have they got it in them to mount a playoff challenge, we will see
