The "steel men" stand in the way of Hibs reaching another Scottish Cup semi-final in a match that IMO Hibs should win but they need to be "up for it" as the MFC players will be similarly motivated to possibly reach a cup final with Celtic eliminated in the last round. As a form guide, Hibs played very well in their midweek match but only in the 1st half while Motherwell were "mince" v the Accies. I reckon the only reason they won their match was because they were up against 10 players for about an hour. They could still only score one goal! However, this is a one-off cup tie and I'd expect Hibs to focus on their game plan v a team that has a strong physical element to their style of play and has accumulated a decent points total under their manager, Graham Alexander. I can see Hibs losing this if they don't match up to the desire and commitment of their opponents. As usual, my biggest concern is that Hibs create lotsa scoring opps and scorn all of them while our opponents take theirs due to some defensive lapse by Hibs. Our defence and defensive mid set up must be rock solid, all part of competently winning a cup tie like this one. Choose wisely Jack!

Your comment on not taking our chances whilst we are on top in a game is spot on. In the first half v Livi we could have been 3 or 4 up inside 40 minutes ........but having said that Livi would have changed their game plan and formation earlier so they may have stifled us sooner, but at least we would have set them a difficult situation to deal with.

Quarter way in and we started pretty well but its all got a bit scrappy now.....Then Nisbet comes close.
Half time coming - we've been on top but Motherwell have been stuffy and have done a good job defensively. They haven't really bothered us apart from a shot from Campbell.

Our 2nd certainly looked offside to me, we are fortunate not to be out.
As newhaven says, poor game management again which has been a problem in lots of big games this season.
No subs and the players have had 3 games in a week.
