And the 'king of clay' reaches the final as predicted! That's a wee wad of money coming my way if he succeeds although the Fed will 'push him all the way'!

Andy Murray astounds again in a pulsating Dubai Classic quarter-final with an amazing 31 min tie breaker that he eventually won 20-18 after saving seven match points - a defining step to eventually win the match! One of his match saving tennis strokes was truly 'world class' and showed real 'nerves of steel' v an opponent, Kohlschreiber, who was clearly 'in the zone' and put on a great display of free-flowing tennis.

What a tie break that was !

A big moment for Andy tomorrow after an indifferent few months following injury, shingles and illness - a challenging French Open semi-final v Stan 'The man' Wawrinka! This won't be an easy match but Andy has suddenly found some of his best form of 2016 and he has a good chance of reaching the final again.

Watching Murray's 3rd round Wimbledon match v Fabio Fognini today and Andy never fails to astound in these kinda matches where he was being 'beaten up' by a decent grass court tennis player at 2-1 up on sets, 5-2 down in the 4th set and he amazingly wins the set 7-5 and ultimately the match - a display of guts n thunder and 'never say die' determination that I've watched so often in the past.

He looks like he's carrying an injury, but he got there in the end. The Italian player was very talented but temperament wise very suspect.

Aye, Fognini has had previous flashes of temper on court - fined $20k for threatening a line judge with violence and also $10k for unacceptable behaviour. A very talented player and needs a coach who can force controlled play upon him and cut the tantrums.

A great match and a fine comeback performance from Andy in that 4th set.

Did anybody hear the audible obsenity that Fognini was supposed to have come out with?

And why do they still insist in mucking up the schedules by putting his matches on BBC1?
