Hibs had better ask for more than the meagre 981 Ibrox tickets on offer!

This was the only heated debate at an otherwise cordial AGM when Leeann Dempster tried to place the onus on the football authority to enforce a requisite max ticket allocation to any club, particularly at a stadium that does not sell out anyway! Hibs should request more tickets within the goal end of the stadium as soon as they sell out their allocation - it's clear the demand will be three to four times that meagre allocation and it's time to bring this irritating stand off to a head and expose it again - long overdue as requested by many shareholders and fans alike!

Unfortunately with sevco its not going to happen.......same with the play off last season. Be unfortunate if sevco don't sell out the ground and there are empty seats when Hibs cannot get a further allocation . The game deserves to be a sell out.

Liverpool visit Exeter in January........capacity at present is just under 9K but they have still given LFC 1300+ tickets whereas they could have sold the ground to Exeter "fans" 3 times over.

That's a good example of a common sense approach to a limited ticket allocation - a case of pragmatism v antagonism! In Rangers case, there's no excuse. IMO force it on them and alter the rules for ticket distribution - strong leadership required!

To be fair that's not a great example, in the FA Cup in England the home team has to give the away team at least 15% of the available tickets, and that's what Exeter have done.

Wasn't saying that this was down to Exeter City just a common sense approach to ticketing for games in general by the FA. If the uptake doesn't happen then by all means offer them back to the home club.

Play offs last year Ibrox was not sold out yet we still could only get the usual 900+.  Ibrox capacity just over 50K.

All you have to do is change some regulations for the different types of game.....and up in Scotland pigs would be flying unless the changes were of benefit to Celtic and Rangers.   Doh

There are so many things to change in Scottish football for the good of the game and this issue is another one!

I take it this is something that has been going on a while?? There should be a rule that a minimum percentage can be offered if there is a demand from away fans. Obviously if the away team does not sell the initial allocation then the home team can give them to home fans.
