Been hearing that for years now. Still no one explains what is going to fill the revenue gap that doncaster outlined, the idea that the new league cup format will do that is ludicrous.

One thing that may come from playing teams only two times instead of four is a more competitive league. At the moment Aberdeen and Hearts on their day could beat Celtic, but they are not going to repeat that 4 times over the course of a season. It might just be what is needed to provide a little more interest in the outcome of the league, at the very least it might make it later in the season before it is all sewn up.

Its not going to matter cos when the clubs look at the figures in black and white they will vote it down
