A comfortable win in the end, but this Celtic team looking like it needs to gel a bit more as early season fixtures tend to reflect this type of issue as new players arrive and others have left. The Hoops in control of this match by HT and 3-0 ahead after a slow start. The Staggies played reasonably well, but not scoring at opportune moments and eventually punished by goals from Turnbull and Kyogo, the Japanese striker ominously opening his goal account. County scoring two second half goals, but too late to have any impact on the final result while Rodgers trying out new players late on in this game when it was safe at 4-1. It looks like "supercool" Brendan is accepting the fact that Carl Starfelt is moving on, the manager acknowledging he'll be bringing in a solid defensive replacement. I wonder if he'll be looking at certain defenders from Leicester City? Curious! And a bonus for Rodgers and Celtic is the fact the Rangers have faltered v Killie - 3 pts already dropped by the Huns and the fact they didn't play particularly well either with certain players not looking as good as many optimistic Hun fans were suggesting.
