And Hibs officials and fans informed today that Aston Villa are the drawn opponents in their UEFA CL final play-off if they manage to make it to this play-off!! All I can say is YUKKKKKKK!!!!
This is a cruel blow/draw for Hibs as we have no chance of qualifying to the group stages v this high standard of wealthy footie club. The Scot footie media and the usual associated pundits will "tart it up" as some kinda glamorous Euro confrontation - a bit of a moneymaking Euro tie for HFC, but nae chance esp under this current unimpressive manager, Johnson!!! Very disappointing although Hibs will have their work cut out to get past Luzern in the UEFA CL 3rd round ties anyway. IMO the boys have a smidgeon of a chance to win it and I'll be attending the 1st leg at ER on Thursday. I'll go there in hope, no more than that!!!
