CJ Egan-Riley comes in to the Hibs player squad as a loan player and actually looks like a vg addition as a CB backup and defensive player. My one gripe is the fact he is a loan player and Hibs will never acquire him unless he does come back for another stint next season - still a short-term acquisition!

Wigan Ath AFC and Shaun Maloney in a new bid for Kevin Nisbet! Rejected by Hibs! Maloney apparently coming in with a revised bid. I'm guessing the bid must be in the region of £3M? Will Nisbet stick with his stance that he's gonna "bide his time" and focus on playing for Hibs? Maloney apparently interested in taking Hendo as well. One day to go and a case of "watch this space"!! Rolleyes

Another centre forward brought in on loan and Hoppe looks like a decent player with international footie experience!! We shall see! Another centre back also coming in before midnight as suggested by Johnson? Tick tock, tick tock.

I didn't realise Doidgy was loaned out to Killie to give him some 1st team game time - thought he'd been bought outright by McInnes et al. The Welshman still not attaining anything near his optimum form before that horrific Achilles injury and hardly hitting the back of a goal net these days.

Mikey Devlin given a short-term deal until season end. A case of grab the opp to impress son.

On the subject of Josh Campbell again, it looks like officials of Bologna are strongly interested in Josh. So another bright young Scottish fringe player is taken away by a Serie A club, Scottish footie definitely becoming an attractive market place to pick up players who can be given better careers in Italy while Scottish footie becomes poorer and IMO Celtic and Rangers extend the "quality gap" even more than before as other Scot Prem clubs pick up some money, but don't replace their lost players with the same standard of individual who has moved on. The words "vicious circle" come to mind! I'm just hoping Josh Doig gets a big money transfer during the close season and the same goes for John McGinn with a big money transfer resulting in a substantial amount of dosh coming Hibs way. We need this kinda financial break TBF!

Galatasaray is added to the list of suitors (various English Championship clubs) who are interested in Kevin Nisbet.

Youann finally joins Hibs on a permanent deal in a transfer deal that is reckoned to cost Hibs £500k. A solid commitment by the Gordon family. However, I think there is an awareness that HFC will recover this money on certain transfer deals in the summer. Re Youann, IMO he still has a lot to learn, but he looks like a player who can improve through time. Lets hope that is indeed the case.
