Where to start, let me see maybe I could do it backwards this week, or maybe start in the middle to shake it up a bit?? But as Julie Andrews once sang - lets start at the very beginning, its a very good place to start!!!! Julie Andrews sang that on a mountain, but our leader this weeks looks like a mountain when he lies down!!! You got it, the one and only Beefy is again the points leader with 16 points, its an honor he does have to share with Derby though. Both of them scored the max on the Gamball, a feat getting more rare each weeks as other bottle playing it. Not these two and they were well rewarded for their courage!!

In third this week was Sanjay on 14 points boosted by a CR BB and 2 spot on scores. He was the first of three straight Pussi-Ball players, lets just call them the the Three Nuetered Degrees this week!!! The other two were our top two in the league, Zinman on 13 points and our leader BBB on 10 points. While Sanjay and BBB got their Gamball predictions wrong, therefore saving them some points, Zinman got his prediction spot on and had he not been such a wuss he would have topped the table this week with the extra 4 points!! Lets remind him of this if he loses the title by 4 points or less!!

SCO came in 6th on 8 points, nowt much to say here, missed the Gamball but got a CR on the BB. Matt came in 7th, with 7 points, picked up points on the Bonus and Scoreball but not much else. Bit of a drop down to Snooty in 8th place on 3 points, missing all three balls cost him dear this week. Worldclass again seems to have stalled on his run towards the top of the table coming in 9th with just 2 points, one of which was the Scoreball.

Bottom this week is Amelia on -2 points, a complete washout besides 1 correct result and 1 point from the Scoreball. Not looking good for her and Snooty and it really looks like their stint in the PL is coming to an end!!

Things couldn’t be closer at the top of the Premiership as BBB’s lead at the top was cut to just a solitary point as Zinman clawed back another 3 points this week, while after 24 weeks of this, there are only 31 points from 1st down to 8th. There’s still over a quarter of the season to go and it’s close enough to suggest someone could just as easily win the title as be involved in a relegation play-off.

St Charles kept in touch, maintaining 3rd but at a reduced advantage over Beefy of just 2 points, who promised us an after Christmas surge and, credit where it’s due, that’s exactly what he’s doing with a 56-point haul over the last 4 weeks.

Derby was the “springer” out of the pack this week to sit just half a dozen points back in 5th , climbing 2 places, while Sanjay moved up a place into 6th as well, and both passed the 200 point mark for the season.

Matt dropped a place into 7th, though he was another to edge past the 200 points as well. Worldclass was the slider this week, dropping 3 places into 8th following up his no show last week with a lowly tally this, as he now occupies the relegation play-off spot in 8th

Amelia 9th and Snooty 10th both did little to help their seemingly hopeless cause scoring just a point between them, though the gap between them is down to single figures as they have their own private battle to avoid bottom spot.

A consistent scoring week this week with one exception,

Top of the tree was Stairs and and with the help of a correct score on the Gamball smashed it with 18 points this week,

Bombers woes didn't continue unfortunately but a score of 14 is nothing to get to excited about only his balls saved him well the bonus did however his reward for not playing the Gamball was -4 (pusi)

In 3rd this week was the consistent Maclad with 12 points .... Im noticing some interesting tactics regarding the Gamball here i may have to re Gig the rule next year and call it the compulsory ball so Everybody has to play it It may even be called the Zinman Ball !!!

4eva actually got his Bonus correct HHHHUUURRRAAAHHH !!! and helped him to mid table and 4th spot with 10 points.
Quantum had the same score of 10 points but finished a place below in 5th due to 4eva having a correct score.

in 6th a more consistent Joker nowadays collected 9 points, Baggie one was down in 7th with 7 points and the only one who really struggled this week was Twerton with a miserly 2 points.

The top 2 cemented their positions in the promotion places giving little encouragement to those below that they could falter in the quest to join the “big boys”. While some are still seeking 200 points, themaclad is halfway to the next century mark and has a healthy 18 point cushion over Quantum in 2nd as both enjoyed another decent return, something that seems to repeated with every consistent week.

Bomber emerged from his mini crisis to both pass 200 points for the season and reclaim the promotion play-off place in 3rd, by just a couple of points from Twerton who drops to 4th after missing Fridays’ game and not being able to come up with much else on Saturday.

4eva maintained 5th 3 points further back and only a point shy of his double hundred AND netting his second consecutive Bonus Ball.

BaggieOne and Stairs are locked together in 6th and such is the closeness of mid table that both are only 8 points off 3rd, a fine line between promotion and one off the bottom, which is where we still find Joker, who, in fairness is making valiant attempts to chip away at the big difference in points he’s faced all season.
